If you keep loving our country music like this, someone's going to have to teach you how to dance the two-step! Love your reactions! If you want another suggestion for good country music, try the band Alabama. All their music celebrates the common man, the simple folk, and the old-fashioned ideals of small town living.

As a child of the 90s, this was one of those 80s country music classics that seemed to work its way into every cycle of "flashback" country songs almost every day on the radio. Great song, great memories, just a classic. You definitely chose Mel's most famous song as your starting song. I recommend Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On

Wish I could post a photo. Hubby and I are on our way home from a big New Orleans wedding (my daughter’s). We are headed two hours west to a little town on the Gulf of Mexico south of Lafayette… the bayou is beautiful today. My man is Cajun and makes the best gumbo you ever tasted, with the music going and him screaming “Kee-YAW!!!” Or “Ai-Eee”😀🙃 We love this song and Cajun French music like Jo-el Sonnier, Wayne Toups, Pineleaf Boys, etc. My personal favorite is a song about a young Cajun boy. Its called “Amos Moses” by Jerry Reed. PLEASE react to this one for me. Everyone of my generation in the US will know it.

i was born in Columbus, Ohio, raised in Detroit, Michigan, USA, and now live down south in Louisiana! FYI, it's pronounced, Looziana! not Lou-is-i-ana! (however you spell how it sounds!) lol this was one of the first "Louisiana" songs i heard when i moved here back in 19 hundred eighty three!! i was a young whipper-snapper back in the day, and yes! danced this song all over the house (not just the kitchen), and tore up a dance floor, as well! it was like every dancer's theme song and we all rushed to get the best spot on the dance floor! i haven't heard this song in years, let alone heard a reactor do it! thank you, hon, from this proud American! yes, MOST Americans are proud of our country! i am a subscriber and I'd like to request a song by none other than Home Free!! "Don't Laugh At Me" with Mark Wills, the original singer! you'll get goosies AND tears! you'll want to hear it over & over, and PLEASE watch it to the end! you have to see the outtro!! lots of love!

Kind of hokey, but very catchy nonetheless! I grew up hearing this one. Love the fiddles. Always my favorite part. Enjoyed your reaction as well. Other Louisiana-themed songs to react to are "Jamabalaya" by Hank Williams Sr. and "Blue Bayou" by Linda Ronstadt. Thanksgiving Day is coming up here in the US on November 24th, so any Thanksgiving songs or songs about being thankful would be great reaction choices too. :)
