Burch I put my comment on this ‘pinned’ comment from you guys in hopes that you would be more apt to see it ….Sir I cannot believe you guys are doing a clip on this …I still have the ‘cassingle’ of this song in my old collection….I heard it one time on the radio and said I’ve got to get that song. None of my friends knew this group, but this song was the coolest song I had ever heard in a long time…. when your video on this popped up on my recommended and I saw CSG Anytime, my mouth dropped. I will admit this came out from left-field when I saw it on your channel….. so psyched you guys did this

Excellent song, Burch. Alexis, you could not look any lovelier. This song triggered an earworm, reminded me of a song I could barely grasp at in my subconscious, and it just hit me . . . Hinder - Get Stoned, a dedication to the one for me. Maybe what is nagging at Alexis?

FYI Michael Schenker Group was founded in 1979 and disbanded at the end of 1983. Michael Schenker formed McCauley Schenker Group in 1986 when Robin McCauley joined him for the first time. Both groups are known as MSG which can be confusing considering that currently Michael Schenker Group has Robin McCauley as the lead singer 😂
@sumonjamal1653

Michael Schenker (guitar) bailed on U.F.O. and formed Michael Schenker Group (M.S.G.) which debuted in 1981... However, Michael Schenker struggled to keep a line-up together and had issues w/ alcohol as well... In 1986, Michael Schenker and vocalist Robin McAuley joined forces to form a new M.S.G. as McAuley Schenker Group and they debuted in 1987 w/ 'Perfect timing'... followed by 'Save yourself' in 1989 and a self-titled album in 1991... Unfortunately, 90's grunge decimated their career. After a 1992 'Unplugged' album, Robin McAuley left the band to get married and quit the music business for a while... effectively ending the band. Michael Schenker reunited w/ U.F.O. for the album 'Walk on water'... in 1995, but the same old issues broke them apart. Michael Schenker came back to record 2 more U.F.O. albums before leaving for good in 2003 and was replaced by guitarist Vinnie Moore. Michael Schenker has been actively touring and Robin McAuley has been performing again w/ him on part-time basis.

Regarding Burch's comment, I am always fascinated with people who say the "fought with their spouses" a lot during their first years together, or half their lives. It says a lot about the parties involved if they stuck it out. I generally feel if a relationship is that toxic (my opinion only) I would be gone! But obviously the people involved saw something more, or something past that initial aggression. Respect.

I'm with you 💯 percent. MSG with Robin McCauley put out an album in 1987 called, "Perfect Timing." The album is a masterpiece. Every song is killer. Unfortunately, that was the same year the eponymous Whitesnake album came out. So this album and band didn't get the recognition it might have otherwise gotten. We'll never know. For me, the song on that album that still resonatrs with me today is, "I Don't Wanna Lose." But I can still play that whole album through and sing along with it. Amazing songs. Also, yeah he's still killing it today with Black Swan. Reb Beach from Winger and Jeff Pilson from Dokken/Foreigner/End Machine is on there too. Killer band with killer songs and his singing is exactly as it haa always been. Raspy and melodic.

That must be Rocky Newton there, and he wrote 'Bad Boys' on the 'Save Yourself' album (1989). Great to see this again, used to have the album on cassette back in the day. I thought it was the greatest thing I'd heard since Gary Moore and G-Force. Every track a winner. Robin has great pipes, and Michael of course is a god, nobody like him. One time in Grantham, England, must have been 1998/1999, Rocky sat in the Wetherspoons pub and nobody bothered him. He used to coach bands in the town.

Michael says that he has not listened to music in 50+ years. Any music that he has heard from other artists he has only heard in passing on the radio in a cab or in a store or something of that nature. Pretty crazy but that’s what he’s said for years. He’s one of rock music/guitarists earliest influences. EVH among many others is known for “borrowing” a few of Michael’s riffs (well documented).
