This song reminds me of my childhood so much. We lived in Florida and we had a convertible and every weekend we'd drive across the bay to the beach with the top down. I remember my sister and I were little and in the back seat and my mom's blonde hair blowing around from the drivers seat. She always had the radio on and I remember this song particularly. It was bright and sunny and the water was blue and sparkling. I always think of that when I hear that song! Isn't it wonderful how music can take you back to sights and sounds and smells and usually very happy memories from the past!

Just when I thought I was over you I see your face and it just ain't true No, it just ain't true I go crazy When I look in your eyes, I still go crazy . You can totally feel his pain. It's a universal pain. Your reactions to his voice and his piano playing are EPIC!! Thank you. Paul Davis didn't promote his own music, he rarely toured, he just liked going fishing and being at home recording in the country. But, his songs shot up to #1, on their own. You got it right, he had such an amazing voice. We didn't appreciate him as much as his music was the background of the '70's and early '80's. Look at that long hair, beard and moustache, that was pretty far out! Could you please review "Cool Night" by the same artist, Paul Davis, please? I can't wait to see you do that one, too. Please, I am obsessed with his voice. Thank you.

This is a very sad song of regret. He and the lady he's singing to broke up. Both of them are in new relationships and although he thought he could get over the breakup, seeing her brings back memories and he admits he still has feelings for her. Apparently he either didn't pay enough attention to her before or didn't have meaningful conversations with her ("you say he satisfies your mind"). Another song with a similar theme is John Waite's "Missing You" in which he tries to lie to himself that the breakup with his girlfriend didn't mean anything but it really hurts when he sees her or looks at her picture. Excellent choice for a reaction and great job!!
