I 💗 Larry June and now you know. DOPE classic tracks never die and I see sampling contributes to the longevity of the original track and it's a new artist taking their hat off to the original Artist. So it's all good 💗🎶✌🏽

Never heard the rap artist, but thanks to these guys nowadays reacting to the music of my youth. it's like experiencing them for the first time all over again. JuneBaby01.😢 Fortunately for me being the youngest brother out of 10 children in the 70s, 80s then graduated high school to begin ADULT LIFE BUT.......MAN! I HAD SUCH A FIRM FOUNDATION. FAMILY, FRIENDS, COMMUNITY WAS SOCIAL MEDIA, RECREATION, RACIAL, SOCIAL, FAMILIAL, POLITICAL AND FINANCIAL DISCOVERY. PATHS INTO LIFE AND CAN POTENTIALLY LEAD YOU THROUGH LIFE IT YOU CHOOSE TO STAY STEADFAST. LOVE WAS A NOUN, AN ADVERB AND A VERB! MUSIC COULD BE THE "CRUST" OF YOUR PIE, OR A LAYER OF YOUR CAKE BUT WHEN IT'S RECOGNIZED AS A PRIMARY INGREDIENT THAT COMPLIMENTS WITH SWEETNESS, PLEASURE, TEXTURE, VITAMINS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL OILS AND INGREDIENTS THAT BUILD YOU UP "AS YOU SLEEP!" DREAMS BECAME POIGNANT, ATTAINABLE VISIONS WITH "REAL PREDECESSORS FOOTPRINTS. Yes Rhonda, the youngsters are humbled when they realize many artists of today borrow or sample tracks from artist work of the past. Many rap and hip-hop artists cannot sing, they can't play an instrument, don't have any knowledge of music, melody, harmony, arrangement or composition. This is why the "music" of today is and sounds bad. Lots of younger people don't know what good music sounds like.
