*這是優質頻道,希望大家多關照,請幫忙分享出去*Alan's new hairstyle looks very stylish and lively, I give it full marks! Formosa Boulevard Station has been named the second most beautiful MRT station in the world, known as the "Heart of MRT". It includes the largest glass piece of artwork in the world, which covers the roof and pillars in the central part of the station, it is currently the largest circular station in the world. Dome of Light is divided into four areas: water, earth, light, and fire, which represent different meanings such as gestation, growth, innovation, destruction and rebirth, and are used to represent human stories. @@IfWeGoTo We came here mainly for some business we had between US and Asia. My parents also recently retired in Taichung from LA. Taiwan served as a good connecting hub for us for the short term and an excellent place to be with family, a decent place for our toddler to get education, better healthcare, and insane affordability - 3x cheaper than the states. We will return to the states in the near future. Also gave me chance to make some videos.

Brandie and Alan, I am giving you full marks for one of the best Travel and Food Vlogs. You not only gave detailed info but tips too. The most important thing for a reader of such vlogs, is to see the price of accomm. you stayed at, whether it's good or bad, same with the food and drinks. A description is really appreciated and knowing the cost and the source which would mean a lot to your readers who are aspiring to follow in your footsteps. Also how to get to a place that's interesting, especially for it's historic and cultural helps quite a lot. Another thing was, I think you failed to mention those biting mosquitos that will leave very itchy spots on your body. Did you bring any mosquito repellent from home or bought them in Taiwan? Last time I went to Tainan, I was horribly bitten by their mosquitos, I couldn't even finished my day there. Had to return to Kaohsiung hurriedly. One important thing, since you were already at the Formosa Station, you missed that food stall close by selling LUMPIA outside the station. You both would have love them. They are rolled up fresh spring rolls, not fried. They are manually wrapped veggies and meat.
@IfWeGoTo

So sorry for our delayed response!! We have been on a bit of a hiatus due to a family matter! Thank you SO much for writing all of this - receiving comments like yours mean a lot to us and keep us going! Those biting insects we experienced are called sandflies, midges, no-see-ums, san gnats - all sorts of names depending on where you are from! We did NOT bring any insect repellant, but I think people should! Taiwan has regular mosquitos too!! Ohh yes we would have loved to try the lumpia! I am actually part filipino so that would have been great to try!!

First of all, the cafe is called 綠波,yes it literally means green wave, but the more precise translation is water ripple, waves created by gentle breeze. I was born in Yancheng, welcome to my hometown. Yancheng is neither new nor up and coming, over a half century ago it WAS the downtown of Kaohsiung, you can still find the old City Hall building by the Love River today, now converted into a museum. After decades of declines, Yancheng starts to gradually revitalize after recent urban renewal. I grew up during the “dark ages”, I still remember Love River being highly polluted and stink like sewage, I guess that kind of explains why I don’t hate stinky tofu at all😂. It’s probably too late now, but did you know that there are free daily Dome of Light music/laser light shows in the Formosa Blvd Station?
