Elvis presley was soul depth and diversity personified. An iconic artist, the likes of which may never be seen again.

This is the ending song to Elvis' '68 Comeback Special, broadcast in December of that year. In 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Sen. Bobby Kennedy were assassinated and the US was in the middle of the upheaval of the Vietnam war. Hearing the song with those things in mind makes the song even more powerful. After seeing your reaction to the Bee Gees' Too Much Heaven I was going to suggest this song to you and I was so delighted you'd already made a reaction video to it.

So appreciative of our Man, loved your reaction. That's the way it is concert footage is Elvis favorite. Just Pretend Stranger in the crowd How the Web was woven Suspicious minds Polk salad. Just take your pick Elvis uses his body movements and gestures to conduct the band and direct the drummer. He is so entertaining. Did sub to tune in again

Elvis will ALWAYS be the KING!! This song is the number one song in the UK most played on the radio due to the Covid because of the lyrics (we are trapped in a world that's troubled with pain) and even though when Elvis sung this, the world was doing fine as can be. Elvis sings from his heart and soul and that's a fact!! I have been an Elvis fan all my life and was such a shame we lost him back in 1977 (remember it well) .. There will NEVER be another Elvis or anyone that will even come close to this guy and his amazing voice!

In this song Elvis isn't asking he is demanding. No one can convey emotion and passion in a lyric like Elvis Presley. He literally is the greatest singer of songs that ever walked on the face of this planet

Loved your reaction. "What now my love" from aloha from Hawaii (1973) is a good one. The one with around 3-400 thousand views is from the the main telecast and the one with the most views is from the dress rehearsal concert the night before.

Cool song Amaka but if you really want to listen to a song, listen to a little bitty song that I heard about a month ago called, "Me and Little Andy" by Dolly Parton. Now if that won't get to nothing will. Enjoy. Have a blessed day. Adios.

In the 1950s, it was extremely dangerous for white people to stick up for people of color. Typically, white allies were as subtle and secretive as possible. For instance, Black activist Rosa Parks organized a successful strike against buses until Black people no longer had to sit in the back of the bus, and white allies helped drive Black people (who were no longer taking buses) to work, the food store, etc. So they tried to do it while it was still dark outside, while their husband was at work, etc. If white racists found out a white 'traitor' was helping a person of color in some way, death threats, vandalism, violence, and even murder could follow. It was a big deal that Elvis was introducing Black music and Black culture to the white community in order to try to get more white people to care about Civil Rights.
