👏👏👏🧡💯 *AJ* 💯👏👏👏 Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on KZitem before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. " 🤗

Great reaction! In the first video you saw her mother (with the long blonde hair) wipe the tears from her eyes. She said in an interview that was when she knew that she lost her. I believe she meant that she knew she would have to share her with the rest of the world. Also, backstage after this performance, a lady told Angelina that her singing made her cry. Being the child that she is, Angelina apologized saying "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry". I think now she realizes that isn't a bad thing. She makes a lot of us cry, even after hearing her sing these songs hundreds of times. If you watched with closed caption, after the first song, the judge that spoke to her when she first came out said "You don't learn that, you have to be born with it". Oh!! You should go back about 2 years to when she was 6, and in a studio for the first time. She sings "I Who Have Nothing" that Tom Jones took to #2 in 1970. kzitem.info/news/bejne/sKqG0ax-n5GjY4I

Great reaction. However, your missing the 2nd song. I'm a Fool to Want You sang acapella. Also Bang Bang was not the complete performance. But you can still see her progression and incredible talent at 7 and 8 years old. Of the 10 finalist she looks like the only kid and got 47% of the votes. For your own enjoyment you should see each one with captions. The judges comments are great. FYI - In an interview Omer, the young judge, said after Gloomy Sunday they thought it might have been a fluke. Then they saw her commanding the room in rehearsal and realized she was the real deal.

Angelina Jordan is a music prodigy she started singing at age of 1.5 years and more than that she started with Billy Holiday Jazz. Angelina speaks 3 languages, designs her own clothes, and has written a very popular book called "Mellom to hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) a story about why she wears no shoes during her performances, and like her name she truly is an angel with a heart of gold. Angelina won Norway's got talent she started the competition at 7 years old and won at 8 years old. Her younger years before age 13 she was watched over by her mother (Sara) and her Uncle who just wanted her to grow up normal. Her mother and uncle Turned down almost 90% of all requests for her to perform but even so from age 7years to 12 years old or so, she has been all over the world (Mother never more than a breath away) Angelina has produced over 130 covers, and she makes all of them her own, all of which will astound you. New people to Angelina get sucked down this road of experience not believing what they're hearing her excellent vocals and unique way of singing, Angelina is a master at music structure her ability to show absolute recognition to a cover while she makes it her own. Angelina writes her own music and produces it. Angelina's mother is Norwegian, her father is from Sweeden The artist grandmother (Mery Zamani) on her mother's side is from Iran and her grandfather (recently deceased) is from Japan both grandparents are very involved with Angelina's growing up, Angelina's song a million miles is about losing her grandfather. Although Angelina didn't win AGT champions 2020 she was signed to Republic record label and is producing new music 7th Heaven, Million Miles, Save the world shes on her way to a world market that I'm sure she'll dominate.

You cry, we cry, because Angelina, so innocently and completely, puts herself and her humanity into each performance..and we become proud aunts and uncles who (especially after watching her grow from tiny to now) cheer for her, are amazed by her, are so very proud and hopeful for her, and intensely want to protect her. I kinda worry about those who watch this and don't tear up at least a little! BTW, this video (or maybe you decided) skipped the second performance just before the judges (no audience) where Angelina sang "I'm a Fool To Want You". That round requirement was you either can play an instrument as you sing or sing a cappella (which was what she did). Very impressive!

These performances by her are are wonderful and great fundation for her extraordinary career in music. To me it could be no less than love at the very first note from her. I belive everlasting love. I`m sure. The one song you missed out, her second performance, "I`m a Fool To Want You", may very well be your next reaction. She sang that Billie Holiday cover, all a`capela, to the judges only (and all of the other singing competitors) as they needed to lower the number of contestants to fit into the available time of the live show semifinals. A great possibility is even to react to her recorded version of the same song as she was 11. A great comparing opportunity, to see her development, and how good she actually was at 7/8 years old. I suggest even to show a clip (at least) of Billie Holidays version, to be abel to recognise the great inspiration shehas been to Angelina troughout her life.

In reference to your saying she almost forgot to put the mic up: What actually happened is - Angelina lowered the mic down so it wouldn't pickup her whispering to herself counting down the timing that she must of have problem with in rehearsal. It's amazing how under such pressure she was able to do that. After all it was the final performance for the win, but she did it like a pro!!! Love your commentary and reaction!!! thanks,

@Marek I have listened to this part dozens of times and what I hear is "Don't you say no". But your take on it makes sense, although she comes across as having an innate sense of timing, so no need to count to get it right. I'm no expert but I play piano and guitar by ear, no formal training whatsoever. I wouldn't even know how or what to count, my timing comes naturally to me.

Hi - there are so many beautiful emotions evoked with Angelina's performances - it's simply overwhelming - we all cry. It's part amazement, and beauty, and joy, and soul-wrenching grief, and promise, and love, and hope, and inspiration... it goes on and on. Though our personal experiences vary widely, we all share these core feelings, and Angelina is able (at every age) to bring them all to the surface. What a gift to humanity she is. I've said this many times - she simply IS music. Thank you once again for reacting to her so genuinely! And your ghost video was well done, and appreciated! May I offer a suggestion to jump forward in time once again, and react to Angelina's cover of Adele's "All I Ask". The emotion she releases in that song's performance is insane. xo

That part where you thought she "forgot to put the mic back" was intentional. She was singing an "ad lib" that Louis Armstrong sings in the original recording with Ella Fitzgerald that this arrangement of the song was based on. (To be specific, at that same point in the song, Louis sings something like, "Mmm-ba, don't you say, oh".) Because of time limitations, Angelina was singing only the verses that Ella sang, not the middle verse that Louis sang ("One of these mornin's, you're gonna rise up singin'…"). So, that's probably why she decided to sing that small Louis ad lib "off-mic".

The Bohemian Rhapsody America's Talent shows four of her family sitting together up front: Uncle (and Manager), Little Sister, (blond) Mom and Grandma (dark hair) -- On the TV Interviews and ANGELINA FANCLUB MOSARZ, you can see her family: Her blond Mom Sara and Grandma Mery (Gloomy Sunday - Norway's Talent), her sister Juliette (the younger girl with her on a California beach for the song Valerie), Mom and her Mom's brother (Uncle Manager) Michael in the two home movies of Angelina in the USA at 3 years old and also the car ride in a limousine arriving later in the US) FYI - YOU WERE ALWAYS ON MY MIND video cover was an earlier tribute to her Grandad who had just recently passed away. This video has the guitarist Ivan Mendez with her and her cell phone with a picture of her Grandad propped up on the sofa next to her. Angelina broke down before she could finish the song, but she still wanted to publish this video. FYI - LIKE A RIVER FLOW, Angelina's stage performance of the song was a tribute to her late Japanese Grandad. She sang this classic Japanese song in Japanese while visiting there. But the video was on a cell phone and stops filming before the song finishes. Her Mom Sara and Uncle Michael also speak Japanese. -- In addition to Norwegian, they also speak Iranian (Farsi) as Grandma Mery is from Iran, then the family moved to Norway. Angelina's Dad is Swedish, but he isn't part of the musical family. They all moved to Los Angeles USA a few years ago. Hi Beyondlocalgoddess :-) this is a strange sampler of Norske Talenter ... and there is even missing one performance ("I'm A Fool to want you") so please consider the following... All the performances from NGT are fantastic and worth to be reacted to... but I think it's better to react to each separated, because in the mix with all in one video is too much cut out :'-(... And also watch out which version you take: E.G. from "I'm a fool to want you" which AJ sings a capella there is a shorter version because there are 54 seconds cut out. And these 54 seconds are so good - even with speaking in - but the good thing of this version is, that you can't hear that there is something missing: AJ hit exactly the notes even after nearly a minute... Judges' Cut-Off with all of AJ's singing: "I’m a fool to want you": kzitem.info/news/bejne/rY6h1ICQfaGDiYY Version, where at 1:13 is the cut where 54 sec. are missing and you don't hear it...: kzitem.info/news/bejne/l4J_yYWCbpl9oo4 ;-) Have fun and stay well and healthy :-D Andreas

Hi BLG. Thank you for that great reaction & your comments too. You are an Angie Angel, for each time you watch you'll think maybe this one now is my favorite =) I gave you the one you missed from her NGT (Judges cut) which was her 2nd performance. “I’m a fool to want you” cover by Billie Holiday she was 7 just turned 8 NGT quarter finals the Judges cut. (a capella & haunting) kzitem.info/news/bejne/l4J_yYWCbpl9oo4 Than you might want to start from the very beginning were it all started. “I, who have nothing” by Ben E. King & covered by Tom Jones & Shirley Bassey. She’s 6 in a sound booth at her school. kzitem.info/news/bejne/s6CHwH94qYiSmKg. I might want to go back & watch the her 1st audition all the way to the end & see what the judges say, it's funny. (What Angie said about “Gloomy Sunday choice) “The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but “Gloomy Sunday “ was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad, where I wanted to listen to jazz on KZitem before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song “Gloomy Sunday” that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song.” (Sara, Angie's mom was asked what she thought when she saw her on the screen backstage, (she was wiping her tears when watching) I knew I had just lost my little girl to the world ) The family has always been very close & since that even more protective of her from the entertainment industry’s vultures & hyena's. From TIME magazine This 7-Year Old's Incredible Voice Will Give You Chills as She Channels Billie Holiday BY MELISSA LOCKER MARCH 10, 2014 11:59 AM EDT A 7-year-old girl managed to absolutely wow the judges on a televised talent show with her spot-on rendition of Billy Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday.” The youngster, Angelina Jordan, appeared on the stage of “Norway’s Got Talent”, barefoot and in a white dress, and announced that she would be be singing Holiday’s dark jazz standard. The fact you missed out her a Capella rendition of “I’m A Fool To Want You” actually presents an opportunity for a double reaction to that performance and her later studio performance of the same song.. (link below to both) ..it’s a great opportunity to see her progression in 4 years (I think)..close your eyes and you’ll hear Angelina Holliday in both…fine reaction as always..🙏 kzitem.info/news/bejne/rY6h1ICQfaGDiYY kzitem.info/news/bejne/tH2ulpigkYaJhKA
