Apparently Dolly was very impressed with how Avi's voice sounded like the acoustic upright bass she usually has in her back-up bands. And Avi has said that Dolly is his favorite celebrity he's ever met, as she's so sweet and genuine.

And the roots music he's doing now on his own fits right in with her style, too.

Dolly is an American Treasure, add PTX and you get what you would expect a Grammy award for both. 2 Amazing entities of musical force.

Great reaction! Did you know they won a Grammy for this collaboration? Dolly insisted that Pentatonix have a verse on the song. She is generous in many, many ways. More info - those of us who have followed Pentatonix for years understand the need for filtering and the stop/start issue. It's the music publishers of the videos who enforce this for copyright. Some of them, especially their live performances, can go through without it. Their early videos, such as The Evolution of Michael Jackson, can be done without the filters. The more produced videos will need it. Glad to see you're going down this rabbit hole. There is a lot to see here and you will get views reacting to Pentatonix. Their other Grammy award-winning performances were the Daft Punk Medley and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (which has no words...it's epic!). Have fun on your journey!!

Great reaction! Please do more reactions to Pentatonix. They have a ton to choose from and you could do a whole month just on their Christmas videos. They have lots of originals too.

Thank you for persevering to get PTX videos to post. I love this collaboration. I look forward to seeing your reaction to Imagine when it eventually makes it to KZitem.

Blocking the video with text/overlay visuals/blurring tends to help with most of the blocks. Also periodically pausing the playback to give commentary/reaction helps (which you did here). But yeah SME and YT make for a copyright nightmare sometimes.

Just a few tricks I've learned from other reactors. Stop for a few seconds to saying something about the video (even if its just wow) after every verse, make it semi transparent and throw your logo on top of the video. Trust me we've seen the videos dozens of times. That usually holds off the yt overlords
