12:00 Eminem performed at BET-Cypher and drew a line in the sand, saying you‘re either his fan or a trump-supporter and can‘t be both. He (Eminem) addressed those bars since, saying on another song (The Ringer) „If I could go back, I‘d at least reword it, and say I emphasize with the people he sold a dream to that he deserted“

Growing up in the 80's and 90's I had to fight black people literally just to go to school of a morning and to go home of a evening, I was the only white student in a southern black school on the south side of Chattanooga TN. me and them did not truly hate each other, It was their role to try and punk me and my role to fight back. We actually started to get along over time. Late 90's i moved to ky at age 13, The same cycle began when i was 16, until one day I walked into the black side of town. I went right up to my would be bully's house and asked his mom if he could come out and play. His mom was shocked to see a white kid in the ghetto let alone asking for her son to come play. She let him outside and was watching us. I was determined to end the would be bullying before it got too bad. I sat down with him on the side walk and asked him "Why must we fight?" to which he replied "because you are white and I am black" I said "yeah I can see that but what color is your blood, What country do we live in and don't we both like sport's, girls and beer?" he replied with "my blood is the same color as yours, We both live in America and are you dumb who does not like sports, Girls and beer?" after that we slowly became friends. I would go into the Ghetto and get him every day after school. we would go get into all types of trouble. he even tried hooking my up with his sister but i was too shy, then he moved away. Ever since then, I just ask any black person i meet their name and treat them like i would have my long lost friend. It works pretty well. Sometimes, i get a giggle because sometimes new black people will act like i surprised them, because i am treating them like a person. then i realize how bad that reflects on society and how hard older blacks had it growing up. and that's sad.

Joyner is one of the best story tellers imho. Alot of people in Australia don't know the history of our own indigenous Aborigines. Who are the oldest living culture on the face of the planet, aging back 60k years +. Up until 1967 Aborigines were not even classed as humans in their own country. We were classed as animals by definition until our referendum in 67. We had "concentration camps" which would "breed out" the black from indigenous peoples of this country. White Australia has a black history. Alot of people in Australia don't understand how bad my people were treated let alone the rest of the world

Not a huge Joyner fan but this is easily my favorite. He did a great job of illustrating the different perspectives. He went far each direction in order to make it more jarring. Songs like this in this day and age (And I love this song) hurts my soul to hear. It hurts because I have been here before. I have already seen this "movie". From 1987 we had so many anthems promoting unity. Rhythm Nation - Janet Jackson (My icon of icons. This album (of the same name) was a life changer) Black or White - Michael Jackson Power of Equality - Red Hot Chili Peppers Free Your Mind - En Vogue Paper and Fire - John Mellencamp I could go on. And how powerful we felt in the change we went out and began to make. Such an amazing time. And the music was bringing us together. It hurts because for so long it seemed like the coming together was going in leaps and bounds. But here I am watching this "movie" all over again. It hurts because what we strived to accomplish in the 90's seemingly had no effect. Like the entire push was for nothing. And I wonder why it did not continue. What did we do wrong?

This is a long story, I'll try to keep it short.... I had no clue who Joyner Lucas was, this song kept popping up as a "recommended video" so I clicked on it, first time I heard the N word come out of a white dude I turned it off. I was pissed that youtube would suggest this.... after weeks of it showing up, after weeks of attempts to listen to it, I think I finally made it through on attempt number 5, probably more than a month later. Then I realized neither one of these men was Joyner, I saw it for what it was. And just now I got as emotional as you. I've heard this song and seen this video countless times, but I still get emotional. Thank you for THIS video. Love always.
