Wolli, went a song can take you back to the 60s with beautiful Angelina driving a classic Porsche, cruising Beverly Hills with her Grandmom, sharing their memories of Lost loved ones, and the bond between them. Angelina's old-school look is timeless, only she can pull it off with an upbeat sound that is current today. She is a true Artist sharing an inside into her creative world and unbelievable "talent'! I'm so proud of her accomplishments and to ride along on her musical journey!

Angelina has become a beautiful woman and a talented artist. Wolli I think it was my growing-up years that started the real change to the United States. Viet Nam War, the assassination of President Kennedy and his brother Bobby and Martin Luther King Jr. (who I had the honor of working with) the Cuban missile crisis. The end of WWII lead to the glory years of prosperity for this country but that only lasted about 20 years until everything started to go south.

Wolli, Angelina does draw the scene boards, so the director knows exactly what she and Mery (grandma) wants. Nothins is left to chance. This was guarantied by Mr. Lipman, CEO of Rep. Rec. himself. The Porsche car was from the 1950s her outfit is clearly 1960s including her hairdo. As a reactor put it so correctly "She is a singing time machine". The style stems also from this time period. As I was born end of the 1950s a have a bit of experience here. As always, you and yours, sir, be safe. Elmar from Germany

Thanks for helping support our barefoot Angel/Princess 😇 👸. Wolli great reaction. The car was mid 1950s Porsche and her outfit and hair is mid 1960s and the song is modern retro with a nostalgic feel. She’s unique and special, she's transcendent. ❤ It was so much better back then. You relied on yourself for doing things or family, friends, or neighbors not technology. You were taught how to think, not what to think. People grew up became adults taking responsibility for their actions and choices no matter the consequences and not blaming others for their life and choices. They weren't trying to destroy the 1st amendment. Marxist did have the hold they now. Being made in American ment something. Music was written bynthe performer and they played instruments in concerts as well as on the record, not canned stuff. No auto tune. Music wasn't so shallow an soulless as most of it is now........ wow,,I sure went onma rant. Sorry. God bless you and your family 🙏 ✝️❤ 🙂👍

In 'Suspious Minds', Cole McCarthy got directing credit and someone with same last name was cited for art direction. Cole was also mentioned at Grandma Mery's birthday party last week when it appeared they were recording some promo scenes for this. She and Republic and Stargate are building a creative support network for Anji, where trust and family are paramount. I'm guessing Cole and his brother are key parts of the visuals.

Great reaction and I think she has a hit! Very catchy tunes and brilliant lyrics, I believe for her Grandpa who has passed, Part 2, Part 1 was "Million Miles". Republic Records has contracted Cole McCarthy as video director for Angelina. That said, I'm sure her grandmother and she both had serious input, i.e. Angelina almost certainly insisted that her grandmother appear in the video, because Mery was largely responsible for her early interest in GOOD music.

Wolli! I'm glad you have scooped this up. I saw an earlier reaction (didn't watch yet), and worried you were missing this. Angelina does nothing by accident. Everything has meaning, including the presence of Grandma Mery. Yes, the girls ahead of me by a few years wore their hair like this. I am moved to tears by this song, have goosebumps. The poetry in it grabs me, I feel I understand the story that she's telling, and whose point of view it is, BUT the universal aspect and reach of this song is tremendous and many many people around the world will relate bringing their own world to this specific story. It is, as you say, brilliant. Nothing about the visualizer is an accident, for example Grandma Mery, or Angelina going barefoot to the mike, etc. Everything is rich with meaning and story. Thank you for your reaction. Grandma Ellen, out. PS (I can see the type of dancing people are doing to this. Jazz Swing)

The biggest differences between the 60s and now? 1. No autotune in the 60s. What you heard was the real deal. 2. No skimpy dancers shaking everything that will shake back in the 60s (with a few exceptions). 3. Technology would be considered ancient by today's standards, so there was a lot of experimentation in sound technology in the 60s. (I'm 71).

Much love Wolli for encouraging everyone to purchase Angelina's new song. After reading the lyrics, I believe this song is part of the grieving process for Angelina and Mery. We shed millions of tears listening to "Million Miles" but that was the start of the grieving process. Now a few years later, this song shows we are ready to move forward while still remembering out departed loved ones. Love the smiles and little laugh between Angelina and Mery at the end of the video.

My friend thinks the faceless love is that of her fans. Her theory is this was written in the time of covid. The audience is often scene in silhouette from the stage. I do not know if I agree with her. I think writers often encorporate open ended poetry and lyrics so that they may be interpreted in multiple layers.

New subscriber - thanks for your great reaction to & appreciation of another great song & performance by our Barefoot Princess Angelina. This brand new song release leading up her album release not only featured her amazing lyrics & vocals, but the video captured the nostalgia of simpler, better times. And although Angelina is quite grown up at 17, it says a lot about her character & upbringing to prominently feature her grandmother along with her. That was only fitting since we've learned that it was her grandmother who introduced Angelina to jazz. Looking forward to more of your Angelina reactions. Thank you. She's got a really strong Amy Winehouse vibe going on. As for the biggest differences over the years is that music of the party weren't oversaturated with effects, or God forbid, autotune. Although I wasn't a fan of the "big hair" styles in the 60s and 70s, there are some artists that can really wear it with style. Watching Angelina's hair styles through the last decade are so much a part of her that it's expected. There's no official date for her album to drop, but it could be as early as next month.

I consider myself still a novice in the music field, but following the "Angelina Jordan Phenomenon" for several years and from the reaction to many who are professionals and understand musical techniques better than I do, they made me think very seriously musical tastes, and to realize who is fooling the music and who is really singing. Angelina Jordan by reinterpreting certain songs over the years basically showed me the correct melodic line of those songs, and I don't even care whose artist the original version was, since through the voice Angelina Jordan sounds phenomenal. The fact that her inspirational base is made up of artists who were part of the "Golden Age" of music, such as Jay Hawkins, Roberta Flack, Louis Armstrong, Whitney Houston, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Billie Holiday, James Brown, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, etc. , who are mostly part of the community Black Americans and who are recognized as the best in the musical field, shows me that he learned from the masters. Maybe it's uninspired to draw a parallel between Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and Angelina Jordan, but I notice the same phenomenon in her case. In my opinion, it is an honor that Angelina also receives the vote of confidence from the Black Americans community like the two greats previously mentioned predecessors. The support and appreciation of Quincy Jones and a large part of supporters who have reactions on KZitem channels, does not than to confirm that the "White Nightingale" is doing an extraordinary job.
