So epic to see Prince shredding it with everyone on stage having a blast! You can’t get this without real musicians on a real stage. Masterclass of fun and professionalism! Thanks for reacting to this! God bless from Western Cape South Africa!

Trip on this prior to that performance Rolling Stones Magazine came with the top 100 guitarist ever and Prince wasn’t on it!!!! That’s unacceptable and disrespectful for a publication of that status to make an error that bad or to simply not put him in there on purpose!

The talents were very similar yet different. They perfected their Crafts for two different clientele....that sometimes would cross or intersect..And that's when and where the crys would come out....who's better. As an avid fan of Prince's music, I just want to acknowledge what a great song this is. It is a testament to George Harrison's formidable talents as a songwriter and lyricist. So many legends and veterans of Music on that stage...the skill level was off the charts. I grew up in the 1970's listening to The Beatles, enjoying George's solo hits, Jeff Lynne's ELO, and Tom Petty and the Blackhearts. Prince & Steve Wynnewood I knew from the early 1980s. To see George's son Dhani performing with The Traveling Wilburys, looking so much like his father, was something truly special. Marc Mann played the first solo so beautifully, his guitar truly weeping. Phenomenal and inspired soloing by Prince whose beloved Hohner Madcat scream-cried at the heavens. I love Jeff's and Tom's tender, plaintive singing here; so reminiscent of George Harrison's style.... Just a stellar performance all around. And it took every last man on that stage to create magic to honor their friend/Brother In Music. This was an amazing rendition of a classic. Rest in Power/Peace dearest Prince, George, & Tom.

Musical genius Talent Versatile (instruments) Coolness Stage presence Good looks Swag And unapologetic bravery to be himself at all times!! Attention to detail notice how his right jacket sleeve was custom made to be shorter than the left so it wouldn’t get in the way of his guitar playing!!!

Prince is our Mozart, he mastered over 14 instruments by age 17, he could dance, sing any note, rap, he wrote, arranged, performed ALL his music, including wrote hits for other artists, he has covered almost every genre, Metal, Punk rock, hip hop, pop, r&b, soul, jazz, blues, Disco, Gospel, country, ambience, classical, techno, house, instrumental. The Multi-Genre God. He could play anything, and your favorite artists have been deeply influenced by him. Corey Taylor, Whitney Houston, Steve Vai, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Lil uzi vert, H.E.R. , Paul Mccartney, all worship Prince to just name a few. Prince recorded his first 2 albums at 16 all by himself, all instruments, lyrics, arrangement, composition & vocals were all by him. He was such a prodigy, that music executives wanted proof, they would fly across country just to see if he could really play all instruments, because it was so unheard of. Prince has over 50 official released albums and when he passed, they found over 10 thousand unreleased Prince music in his vault. He then came into the business and was the FIRST to fight for artists rights, and he WON. He would write "slave" on his cheek and go to meetings protesting against the industry. Prince was also the first artist to sell his music on the internet. You are talking about the most talented artist we will ever see.

There is an entire story behind this performance, and people had no idea how competitive Prince was he comes from that here in Minneapolis, and he let everyone on that stage know. The only reason people are still talking about this all these years later is because of what he did that night on guitar.

Okay, no. Gen X in the room. One thing the younger generations do not understand is the whole group 100% are important, not just one singer or player. And the musicians knew this, no one competing but understanding a moment is occurring, let it go and he gave homage to the son. Although we shouid not bow down to anyone, to each their own. Prince was on stage with legends too. And maybe, just maybe if you had done more research, you would have known why he was there in the first place.
