That drum fill while she's singing includes double kick as well (TTTTKKTTTTKKTT) straight outta Dream Theater's coolest drum fills. I'm SO HAPPY you gave them another chance and that you took our recommendations to heart! Choke may grow on you, specially when you see it live, but regardless, they have a lot of different styles of songs and there's definitely stuff for everybody! I do STRONGLY recommend the official Music Video for Evolve though - it's a blast of fun and pretty much encompasses the personalites of the three members of the band. Dany (Guitar) - super emotional and an all out front person. Alé (Bass) - super cool, so chill, a consumate musician who does complex things but makes them look simple, and has the temperament and, according to Pau "You've got the face and the height" to possibly become a model if the band ever breaks up LoL, and Pau (Drums) - the A-type member who's ALWAYS on, SUPER intense, as Dany says "has that muscle to create little worlds out of nothing", primary songwriting starter, primary keyboardist in the studio, Drummer, Co-Lead Vocalist.... and in the Evolve Music Video shows "just enough crazy" to be both likeable and a little frightening.

There are two songs in Spanish. “Narcisista” was released as a single in 2019. It’s a response to those who slammed the band for singing only in English up to that point. This one features Pau, the drummer, on lead vocals. The main video right now for this song is from their Foro DiDi concert, the first time they performed it live. There should eventually be a version from the same concert as “Disciple.” For this performance, Pau steps out from behind the drums. The second, “Martirio,” is from their latest album. At the moment, there’s an official music video and “live in the studio” version they performed for SiriusXM Radio. There should also be a live version from this concert at some point.

You are correct, they are from Monterrey. Love this song because you get Dany and Pau on co-lead vocals, and Ale's bass intro. Ale has great basslines altogether. Usally it's either Dany or Pau singing lead. Ale doesn't have any designated lead vocal songs, but she will do it if Dany needs a break or doesn't feel well. I know there is a video of the song 'Hunter' with Ale on lead. Money is probably still my favorite, but this is right behind it. Dust to Dust( from the 2nd album) is good if you want Pau on lead. Narcisista and Martirio are the Spanish language songs. And Thanks for the spoken part translation.

Their Dad, Luis, owned a recording studio for a while. They also have some really top notch audio people helping them. And they had just worked with veteran record producer, David Bendeth, on their third album. So they have SERIOUS audio expertise. This show was recorded in multi-track, then mixed and mastered in the studio from the live recordings. I'm sure they fattened the sound with appropriate processing (compression, EQ, etc.). This show is 22 songs of excellent music that is all available now on KZitem.

This is a very interesting song. I like the twists and turns in it, and the vocal tradeoff between Dany and Pau adds a lot of interest. And yes, Pau can sing while playing complex drum parts, even in the thinner air in Mexico City. Subscribed for your analysis and discussion of the details. They perform the bridge in the same way in English-speaking countries. They do have other songs with audience involvement. It will be interesting to see whether Dany learns a little bit of German and/or Czech to do the same thing in those countries. They very definitely are a live band. These are by far the best live recordings, both in terms of technical merit and their skills, to date. I think I'm going to say that these are the best recordings of them, period. They may not be quite as perfect, but the sound gives up very little, and the combination of their live energy and improved skill since they recorded them originally just makes for a much better experience. You might want to watch the official video of this song on your own time for purposes of comparison. At this point, I'd say there are a few ways you can go: 1) Listen to the other two live videos that you haven't heard yet (they dropped Choke today, and while I prefer it to the studio version, it's fundamentally the same song -- except that Ale, on bass, sings two lines in the breakdown): ANIMOSITY and Enter Sandman. Enter Sandman is Enter Sandman, except that it isn't. It's quite thoroughly theirs. ANIMOSITY is another rocker. 2) Start going through their back catalogue. One way to do that is to go through their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene, in order. It's a concept album/novel/opera, and while there's no musical commonality between the songs, there's a strong storyline. The album is divided into a prologue and four chapters of three songs. The songs stand on their own, but if you're interested in lyrics and the story, it's worth doing it in order. If you don't care about that, it doesn't matter. Regardless, Dust to Dust is another hard rocker, with its own twists and turns and is not a "commercial" song at all. Most reviewers use either the Lunario concert (also in Mexico City, in 2018) or Foro Didi in 2019, when they played it through, although at Foro Didi they did the last few songs out of order. At Lunario they played older songs between the chapters. The Foro Didi version of Dust to Dust has an interesting introduction. 3) Listen to the two Spanish songs, Narcisista (single in 2019) and Martirio (from Error). My own recommendation would be to start with the other two live videos from this concert (I expect that more will be forthcoming over time, but only they know the plan for that) and then go through Queen of the Murder Scene. They did play some songs from QoTMS at this concert, and the one I've heard is absolutely stellar, but I don't think they played more than 3 or 4. They did play both of the Spanish songs at the concert; one of them got a huge crowd reaction and I'm sure the other one did too. The first album (XXI Century Blood) is excellent too; it's not as heavy as the second and third. My own favorite is Survive, which is from that album; I'm less certain that that will be your preference, but it's certainly a rocker. I do think you'll like the title track, Copper Bullets, River's Soul, and When I'm Alone (they played Survive and When I'm Alone in Mexico City). Black Holes is a ballad, but very much one of a kind, and it's hard to believe that a 13 year old with no personal experience with the subject matter (addiction) could write it, but Pau did.

Beyond the musicality emitted by the instruments, masterfully executed... Or the stupendous voices, each day more mature and better... Of the deep lyrics, inspired by his innate genius... And the paraphernalia of the "show", which achieves its goal... It is inescapable that this moves you from the depths of your emotions when you observe what the girls are doing in their performance. It is more than a pleasure to see how Pau really enjoys what she does, which seems to be a game that amuses her so much that she gives herself up, contributing all her emotions and, at the same time, allows herself to be the receptacle of everything that can transmit what is happening to her. happening around you, transforming everything into a virtuous circle of unsurpassed quality. Well, surely only surmountable by themselves. And they have so much mastered what they are doing that they only have to give themselves completely, passionately (as Latinos know how to do), to what they like to do best and most, in a way in which they have fun and fully enjoy it. Well - I can remember one band where at least everyone sung from time to time: The bands name is/was Queen. It's no wonder why The Warning is naming them as one of their idols. With that super great front singer Freddie Mercury you tend to forget that there was Brian May who can also sing very good. The high tones mostly came from John Deacon (as far as I can remember) and even Roger Taylor did some singing from time to time. You can hear this in "Somebody To Love" or "Bohemian Rhapsody". Anyhow - The Warning is indeed the future of Rock. With them the future of it is so much brighter. Geez they are still so young and they are already superstars allthough they're not showing it and do still have a very much down-to-earth-attitude. Who can not love them?

@@VelcroReacts Queen still exists with Adam Lambert as a singer. But ... well ... it's not like the original one (of course). Regarding outer influences for The Warning. They signed the last label-contract with the pre-conditon not being influenced by anybody. That's why they denied some companies who wanted to change them ... gladly they did. The drums are always mixed prominently, probably being a trio will do that, also all three are actively engaged in writing and developing the different parts together. As for the last song Choke, I tend not to recommend that one on first listen. If there is going to be a song people don’t warm up to, that will be it. Most of their songs fall into a general hard rock category rather than metal, I just mention because people often refer to them as a metal band and that’s misleading. I think you can easily tell the difference. Although the energy is always dialed way up. Thanks for giving another listen.

Well, as a clarification, the chock song was going to be on the album anyway, all their songs are written by them and this album was already planned before they sign with a label, but the thing is, the label pushed for choke to be the single while the band wanted a less marketable song as single

Got it! It makes sense to... It's more "radio" Friendly and right now most radio sucks so I guess you can't really push the envelope too much there.

Already did some Band-Maid, Lovebites, and Nemophila, I'll add the rest to my list... Also, I would add Jinjer in the 25 for sure.

@@VelcroReacts Yep, in fact Jinjer was on my list. Jinjer was replaced by „Wagakki Band“ because I think this Japanese Rock/Metal band (using also traditional japanese instruments) is more unknown. It would be no problem to make a list of „50 Best Musicians/Bands most people never heard of…“ but the more I recommend the less is the chance that reactors will react to the artists. My hope is NOT that reactors react to all my recommendations but that there is this moment when they are a bit bored and start to remember my list, getting curious, view an artist (or two) and are impressed so that they decide to make a reaction video. So if you are in the mood….do so….if not….no problem, you are doing a good job already. Greetings from Germany!

How about Danelyia Tuleshova (Kazakhstan) She’s a world-class performer at the age of 16.

@@rockrap6240 You are absolutely right! But whom to eliminate from the Top 25? As I wrote: I had to make a selection, but Danelyia is really special, too!
