1st...i hope you are feeling okay. If you like this you might enjoy their " Country Fried Pop Medley ". Being the founder, Chris put many years into Home Free. He decided he wanted time to work on his own , his music, arranging and other projects. There seems to be no hard feelings, I've seen him hanging out in a couple "From the Vault ( behind the scenes) videos and I think I remember he helped pick Adam Chance as his replacement. Chance made an appearance at Chris's last concert. He does have solo work and is in a smaller acapella group, Cypress Fyre, who has just started a student outreach project helping children express their emotions through music. You can hear him sing solo in their song " Moving On". Thanks for the Home Free reactions.

Chris arranged the Christmas song What Child is This and featured Home Free on his channel. An awesome video with 6 part harmony. He also is featured in Adam Rupp’s arrangement of an AMAZING cover of the Christmas song Do You Hear What I Hear? Also if you were impressed with Rob rapping in this medley you will be blown away when you hear him singing opera with Austin. It’s called Two country singers try singing opera.

If you would like to hear Chris and Tim Foust together Try Chris Rupp version of Long Black Train. I think you will be surprised. They are wonderful together. Chris left with their best wishes for success. Adam is the only one of the original group that remains and is the backbone of the Group. Adam has a video that he arranged and got the group together for a fun short video. I don't know if you have reacted to Brother but it is one of my favorites a long with Blue ain't your color.

Thanks for another great reaction! Love watching people react to this hilarious grouping of songs. It's even more fun at the live shows!! But about Chris Rupp -- he is INCREDIBLY talented! He didn't use his own very good voice to solo a lot with the group. But after he went out on his own he has many songs and albums. Check him out on KZitem. He did Moving On after HF with the guys. Super gorgeous and moving. But Chris is able to write, arrange, sing, play incredibly almost classical type piano. He is just talented! Thanks again and keep the reactions coming! Oh, Listen to the Music is great. Tim has a couple originals recently he solos in and he has his own solo channel that he does incredible stuff, singing all the parts himself at times! Wow! Take car.

I hope you feel ok. Chris and Adam Rupp (the beat boxer) were the founders of the group back in 2000. Chris just felt it was time to try a new challenge as Home Free was finally doing so well and no longer in any danger. He actually had a hand in Choosing Adam Chance who replaced him in the group. He has gone on to start other groups and to have a solo career. He is doing just fine and still comes back to sing with Home Free every now and then.

#Home Free Oh, I hope LeeJay is feeling ok now! Glad you got to finish the video. This was a blast to watch again. One thing I noticed the very first time I watched this video is when right at the beginning of Fat Bottom Girl, Tim was head banging. Hardly anyone ever notices it. Could be because he’s over on the right end of the screen. These guys never take themselves too seriously. Their behind the scenes for most of their videos are usually funny in some parts. It’s usually shenanigans when they’re in between filming takes, etc. It’s a little odd that even though Chris had the idea to start the group with his brother and two other guys, he rarely had solos. He left the group because he had so many projects he wanted to do and didn’t want to interfere with the group’s schedule and so forth, he left the group in mid 2016.

Chris Rupp quit Home Free to do his own individual projects. There was no dramatic bust ups If you want to see Chris sing some as a lead with Home Free, he does that with Country Fried Pop and Children Go Where I Send Thee which the group did with the late great Kenny Rogers. Chris does a duet with Tim Foust, the bass, called Long Black Train. He also is part of another acapella group which includes Chris and Adam's sister Tristan. Their group is shown on Chris's, You Tube Channel. Chris has made a series of videos about the history of Home Free. It starts with Chris, Adam, and Matt Atwood discussing about starting Home Free. It talks about the many struggles of starting an acapella group. They talk how Adam started beatboxing and how they came up with the name Home Free which Matt offered as a joke. The next part is about how Rob joined his group. As a music major, Rob did numerous jobs to pay the bills. He joined Home Free when his previous acapella group disbanded.. Rob talks a lot about the previous members of the group. Home Free changed members quite a bit, especially basses. Next video has Tim and Austin in Austin's home in Nashville. Tim tells how he joined Home Free for their first tour. Chris talks about how he kept asking Tim to join Home Free permanently. Then Austin talks about working as an entertainer on a cruise ship and saw Home Free. He wanted to join the group if ever there was a spot. Matt about that time joined his family's business. Austin then joined the group. Tim talks having to interpret for Austin as a fellow Southerner, since the other members from Minnesota couldn't understand Austin due to his accent. There is a strong sense of family with Home Free. It doesn't just extend to the present members, but also past members Also, that connection includes the unseen crew members. BTW the guy in the cut overalls is one of Rob's best friends ( along with Tim Foust.) Rob's, friend v(I have forgotten his name) is in several Home Free video. He and Rob do a video channel on movie reactions. Rob, in case you don't know, has a very dry deadpan sense of humor. All of the guys have a good sense of humor and are laid back. They are also very hard workers. As Austin said, it's not as glamorous as it looks. Most of their time is spent just traveling to different destinations. What they do is work and a business, but it is also a community. Home Free has proven to be respectful of their fans, fellow musicians, various service organizations , the military. Veterans, crew members, even fellow competitors. The Buttz Remix was arranged by Lance Stein of Voiceplay. Voiceplay and Home Free were competitors on The Sing-Off. They have a friendship formed during the show. They did a video together after the show called Zombies vs Hillbillies.

So glad you guys enjoyed it. It is a fun one. I showed it to a group of too young’s and quite olds, and they were so confused. They didn’t recognize most of the songs. Didn’t understand that this is a fairly family friendly parody of some of the biggest songs about butts ever. #HomeFree they shot 3 videos that day, if you watch in the beginning Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) is just behind Tim singing Honky Tonk Bedonkey donkey. Then he disappeared then he's back. Chris said he went to get lunch for everyone including the ham sandwich. That Tim proceeds to eat on camera during the Paddy Cake With No Hands

Home Free nearly didn’t get Tim or Chance. Street Corner Symphony was on season 2 of The Sing Off. Just before the show started, the contacted Tim because they needed a bass. He turned them down, and Chance joined the group. If Tim had said yes, he wouldn’t have gone to Home Free a short while later, and Chance may never have gotten into acapella at all.

I'm a little late to the party. But I am glad to have found you. The Oak Ridge Boys group dates back to the 1940s. The Oaks in the video have been together AND performing for 50 years. Multiple accolades from Grammys to CMAs to Doves et al. Regrettably they are on their farewell tour and will retire the group at its conclusion. Please do a YT search for Oak Ridge Boys and you will find their channel with lots of their music.

In an interview with Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) he said this was his pet project. In summary, his sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where most of the women came from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' are theirs. The man in the one shoulder overalls is "Beugs", a friend of Rob's who co-hosts on Rob's channel (he's in other videos as well).

Eric Beugler aka Beugs is Rob's cohost on the movie review podcast The Avid Indoorsmen. Those overalls he's wearing are the some ones worn by Tim in Champagne Taste. He's in Home Free's video White Christmas, one of only 4 where Chris Rupp and Adam Chance are both in, either both performing or one in the background. Chris went solo in May 2016, singing mostly christian themed songs and hymns. He was part of the group 7th Ave along with their sister Tristin. My favorites of theirs are Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk and a mashup called I Kissed a Girl in the House of the Rising Sun. His other group after that is Cypress Fyre. My favorite of theirs is No Diggity. Chris also has a really fun video out called Drinkin' With Me, sung with Adam Bastien. He has another live stage version of that song under his & Matt Atwood's name. Matt is one of the original members of Home Free.

#HomeFree Another great HF reaction, thanks Guys! They have a great sense of humour but are always respectful in how they do things (ie. it was only their own butts shown). No matter how silly their music never suffers. A prime example of this is Brother - I'd recommend you watch it twice during your reaction, once for the video antics and a second time for the lyrics/music, just so you can catch it all. We Home Fries won't mind a bit!

Hope you're feeling better. This group has so much talent in such a small package. What you see in their music videos are what they are behind the camera. They believe in their music and it shines. They show that you can sell music without the sexual, bad language and demeaning videos. They are wholesome to the core. They do collaborations and let those artists shine through. Since they don't have a 'lead', they share and and put whomever would sound the best lead the song. Their music can fit all genres and are family sanctioned. Love seeing kids at their live concerts. They use their own family and friends in the videos. For their pure harmonies, listen to Brothers in Arms,(Dire Straits), Helplessly Hoping (Crosby, Stills and Nash), How Great Thou Art. The also back up some causes too. One Voice, Don't Laugh at Me and my favorite, Everybody Walking This Land. Keep on doing your fabulous reactions. Love watching you. A new sub!

Oh the boys are nuts and we love them. They really only showed their own butts while being respectful of women. The guy in overalls is Beugs, a friend of Rob’s. He knows no shame and is in other videos. Laugh or cry the boys never let the music suffer. They’re so good. Good reaction boys!🥰😍🤣

Chris Rupp wanted pursue his solo career. Chris is awesome, but IMO Chance has brought this group to another level. I think its because Chance can sing Bass to high tenor. Which gives Tim the opportunity to do more singing other than bass.

This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not exploiting or offending any women.

Love your reaction to the song! I'm you're doing okay, Lee Jay! Hope you're doing better, friend. This has always been one of my favorite songs just because it is so goofy, ya know, it's all about how you intend things. I had a friend of mine ask me if it didn't upset me that the whole thing was talking about women's butts. I said "Of course, not, no! They're just being silly, it's all in good fun. They seem like some of the sweetest dudes you could meet." So, yeah, it's super fun, makes me smile when I watch it. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, too. 🤣🙃😛
