Avi wrote this song back in 2020 during the Covid lockdown, as he couldn’t visit his parents in California or even his sister who lives not that far from him. As has been said, his older brother had been living in Israel for several years, hence the Galilee reference. The stanza about his sister refers to her taking care of her little brother when she was PTX’s tour manager. She was very protective of him as he struggled with anxiety and exhaustion, so it’s great that she has become his manager, giving him the attention his original management company couldn’t due to their huge roster of clients. He’s in loving hands now.

This song’s beauty is in its simplicity. We all have family and it brings to mind our own memories. The expression “gone to the Galilee” is an old American reference to our departed love ones, but not in Avi’s case. He is referring to where his brother was living in Israel.❤

I love how Avi honors his family in such a beautiful tribute to his family. This of course was written during covid, but gorgeous nonetheless. I'm so glad you like it. Thanks for another great reaction. ❤
