There are so many videos of these guys to choose from, and they will all rock your world. Dirty Loops has NO bad songs. All of them are phenomenal.

Dirty Loops was formed in 2008, and the the three of them were longtime friends already by then, and posted their first video back in 2010, so they have quite a bit for you to check out, should you wish to. And everything is of this stellar quality, so no matter what you pick, you most likely won't be disappointed. All three of them studied music as their main subject already in high school and also went to music college in Stockholm. Jonah played classical piano until his last year of high school, when he switched to jazz, and (iirc) then studied music production with jazz piano as his side subject in college. Henrik and Aron studied jazz (and of course some other genres as well, but jazz quite often is the foundation in a lot of non-classical music educations in Sweden) in both high school and college. They are managed by Quincy Jones these days, but they produce everything themselves, together with Simon Petrén. They've said in interviews that they don't send Quincy Jones anything, not even demos, until they're all done, video and all. As some other people have already suggested, you should check out more of their stuff. My personal favourite is Work Shit Out, but you can't go wrong no matter what you pick really. They did a whole album (Turbo) with Cory Wong during the pandemic, and everything was done remotely, with Dirty Loops in Stockholm, Sweden, and Cory and the horns in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Even the videos (there are four from this album; Follow the Light, Thriller, Turbo, and Ring of Saturn) were all filmed in separate locations. Aron (the drummer of Dirty Loops) then edted the films to make it look like they're in the same room. He does basically all the video editing for Dirty Loops, and also did so for this collaboration.

This was such a dynamite reaction. You two are so much fun and it was so cool that you got around to Dirty Loops. I would heartily recommend "Next to You" by Dirty Loops. A lot of people refer to this song as Dirty Loop's "Bohemian Rhapsody". And it totally lives up to that. It has everything and in particular Jonah the singer will truly blow your mind on this one. Please I guarantee both your minds will be blown with this song. FYI: When "Follow the Light" was recorded none of the guys in either band had met in person before. Everybody on stage left recorded in Minneapolis, U.S.A. while Loops on the right recorded in Stockholm Sweden. Kind of a mind blower.

Welcome to the Dirty Loops universe. You'll find that almost every video from this band is awesome. Cory Wong and the horns were only guest musicians in this setting. On the subject of Henrik can play anything: You're right about that. There's a video with fusion rock guys Jack & Owane (see the video for the song "U.T.F.F.") or another trio called "GEM" consisting of Animals as Leaders' drummer Matt Garstka and a jazz pianist named Eldar - all including Henrik. When you see this, you briefly think about selling your instruments. 😅 Thanks for your reaction.

Oh, yes. The GEM stuff is so brilliant! And so is U.T.F.F. 😍 You could argue that it's Dirty Loops who are the guests in this though, as the initiative for the collab came from Cory. 😁

What a banger of a reaction! Loved it when your collective jaws dropped every now and then :) Yes, these musicians are absolutely mindblowingly good, and that song, weird as it might sound that DLoops and Cory had never met at the point of writing, recording and filming this, it still is such a funky, fun and convincing track 🔥 You also might/definitely will enjoy Thriller from the same collaboration. They made a whole album together, and four of the songs have videos with them. Thriller, besides Follow The Light, Turbo and Ring of Saturn, is one of those four. All the tracks are KILLIN it it, but Thriller is a complete one-off, I think. And yeah, Henrik’s a beast on bass and indeed can switch between any genre. True, I think, of all of the three Dirty Loopsers ;) Loved your reaction and commentary and can’t wait for more Dirty Loops on your channel 🙏

The really crazy part is not only wasn't that recorded at the same time, it wasn't on the same continent. Dirty Loops were in Europe and Cory Wong and the band were in Minneapolis. In fact they hadn't even met when they did this - it was carefully constructed to look like they were in the same room. Now you need to dive further into the Dirty Loops rabbit hole, there's so much to check out, but "Work Shit Out" will really blow your minds. You'll also love "The Way She Walks" (audio only) and "Next to You". They also had a fun little side project called "Songs for Lovers" where it's just the two or three of them pretty much jamming.

Brilliant reaction! It brought such a smile on my face, and I wanted to be there in the background somewhere, dancing away with you guys. ;-P Dirty Loops is a swedish "secret" thats not so secret anymore; as people below have mentioned, they have studied music on a very high level and worked a lot as session musicians in all kinds of stuff, but have been best friends since school and wanted to create something together. I saw them live in my hometown of Umeå and they are at least as mind blowing in real life. Check out any song by them and you will not be dissapointed. My favourite is very hard to choose, but Work Shit Out is in another dimension. Its just not as "poppy" as their other stuff, but its a complete beast of a musical creation.. Rock You and Next to you are awesome... From their album Loopified I adore "Hit Me" and "The Way she Walks"...but no matter where you go in their catalogue you are definetly in for a treat and a mind bending experience. I am just shocked they are not world famous, well payed, super stars yet. But perhaps now... ;-P
