Anything Gary Moore puts a smile on my face; with his old friend Phil Lynott, twice the smile 😊. I'll suggest some myself down the road, I own all of his cd's. Thank you.

Glad that you enjoyed this my friend. Gary and Phil worked together a lot over the years. They were in a band together in Ireland, when Phil was the singer (He didn't play Bass back then). They both came to England separately, Gary with Skid Row and Phil with Thin Lizzy. Gary was actually a member of Thin Lizzy on several occasions. After leaving Thin Lizzy the first time, Phil was quoted as saying that he needed to get two guitarists to replace him, because Gary was so good. They got together again for Gary's 1978 single Parisienne Walkways and indeed most of Thin Lizzy played on Gary's first LP Back On The Streets. When ever Phil needed a guitarist, for whatever reason, he always turned to Gary! Although Gary played on several tracks on various Thin Lizzy albums, the only album released with Gary as a full member was Black Rose (in my opinion Thin Lizzy's best album) Phil and Gary fell out when Gary quit the band half way through a tour of the USA. By that time, Phil and the rest of the band were heavily into drugs and Gary (who wasn't) felt that their performances were very bad. Apparently Phil could hardly stand up on stage on some occasions. They did no speak to each other for a couple of years until a chance meeting at an airport where they rekindled their friendship. When Gary took his band back to Ireland, he asked Phil to join him on stage for a couple of numbers. Gary could see that by this time Phil was in a pretty bad way health wise and this video was part of Gary's attempt to Phil back on a straight road so to speak. Sadly it was not successful. The guitar that you asked about in the video was a SynthAxe. Something that didn't really catch on. Anyway, I hope that you will check out some more Gary Moore videos. Can I suggest The Messiah Will Come Again Live: I have included the link below: kzitem.info/news/bejne/mKFmnZ5thZV9pKw It shows what an absolutely brilliant guitarist Gary was. The best in my humble opinion! Cheers.

This was a kinda fun song. I got distracted with the guitar as well. I don't know if I already requested this, but could you react to "Words As Weapons" by Seether? Or "through The Fire And The Flames" by Dragonforce?
