Hands down the best ComfyUI basics tutorial I've seen so far. And I really appreciate how organized you are. You've convinced me on the using the bus nodes. Thank you.

I’ve watched so many AI tutorials and this is by far the best explanation I’ve found. Even beats a $$ course I’m currently enrolled in - so good!

This was HUGELY helpful for a complete newbie to ComfyUI. Deleting the various nodes and adding them back was a nice exercise to get used to how to manipulate the interface, and the bus way of doing it really lays things out in a more logical way. I don't think I'll be creating too many samplers, but it's nice to know I *can* if I ever need to.

Great intro thanks! I don't seem to have the Text box node @16:41 do I need to install it, or has it been superceded? Cheers! Guess Preset text will do something similar with more options haha

theres tons of text box option in custom nodes. Its not super important which one it is, as long as it outputs a string, you should be good.

Hi, dont know what I am doing wrong but when I Queue Prompt, it says 'TypeError: Failed to fetch'. Can you help please?
@ferniclestix

huh, have not had that error before, if you look around your workflow you may find it has circled a node or input in red, which should give you a clue as to which node has problems. If it isn't highlighting anything then you might want to try switching models or updating your comfyUI and custom nodes to the latest version (making sure to restart the browser window) ComfyUI sometimes breaks things when it updates and as this tutorial is a little older, it may have some issues... i don't think it should because I used stock nodes buuut you never know. anyway let me know if that helps.

OK great, but where to find Upscale model ?
@ferniclestix
7 ай бұрын
if you have comfyUI manager you can go to the custom models list and find some through there, you can also go to hugging face and hunt around for them. They arent generally too hard to get ahold of.

Strange, I don't see text box in my SDXL nor able to connect any node box with word "text" in it from search. @ 16:40

its a modded node that allwos text input, quality of life suite I think from memory. WAS suite has similar nodes in its text section. Right click on any node and you will see options to switch to input.

Man, great tutorial. I have so many questions still thoough, and also when you cntrl c then cntrl shift v and it pastes all the stuff together and linked if i go click any of those things to drag it around it then makes a copy of that thing i clicked and only some wires are connected, it does that for every single thing i copied too.

this is one of the strange behaviours of comfyUI, it hates reroute nodes having nothing connected to them so it tries to connect them automatically to any open input. and because the logic for this behavior is buggeed to hell it will crosswire things and mess your inputs. avoid copying open reroute nodes if possible.

Could you maybe make a patreon, id support
@ferniclestix
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support, maybe I will do patreon at some point but right now, I don't feel like I have the kind of content or channel that would make using it useful to subscribers. instead, spread my tutorials around if you happen to be hanging around on a relevant social media channel :P

@@ferniclestix just so we could get all the files and stuff, maybe not necessarily a patreon, could even just be a google drive with stuff so we’re sure we would be getting a working version if you get what im saying
