Thank you for being compassionate and helping an elderly dog find it's way home. Not enough people care about lost or stray animals. Congratulations on a successful first farmers market. Like you said the key to selling is providing what others are not. You will find your niche and people will flock to your stand. Best of luck, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊

Greetings from Northeast Ohio. Excited for you. We have a farmers market in our little village as well. My dad always taught me to take the stems off of the tomatoes. If you don’t, they poke into the other tomatoes, sitting on them in the basket and ruin them so we take the stems off as we pick them from the vine.

Hey Frankie, I'm going to give you the secret to finding the sweetest watermelons, but don't share it with anyone else. Hold it next to your ear and hit it with a hard knuckle or I hit it with the side of my thumb. The sound you are listening for would be that of the same size water filled oaken keg. I was afraid the dog had been dumped.

Very nice harvest y'all! Good job farmer Mike. I planned to sell produce at the farmers market this year, so I grew a bunch of funky tomatoes.. We have black ones, green, purple, orange, yellow and some multi colored ones. Figuring I might offer something unique. However, we are enjoying them too much... So I think I'm just going to preserve them instead. 🤣 We did sell close to 3,000 plants starts at the farmers market in early spring. I'm definitely going to be doing that again next year. Praying the crowd picks up best week.
