Sorry you had a bad experience in Korea. I lived in Korea, US and now in Canada and media usually show Chinese tourists in negative manner. US media especially always talk badly about China. It is very unfortunate but people have negative impressions about Chinese tourists. I really like Chinese people, food and culture personally and had very good Chinese friends in US. Hope your experience will be better if you go back again.

From experience, when travelling people don't like rude/ignorant/inconsiderate/disrespectful people and they can come from all over the world unfortunately because china is so big there are lots of people with little to no experience in traveling so people see that right away. For example, not lining up in line, talking really loudly, letting kids run around in busy restaurants, not respecting traffic or general direction/rules... It's growing pain, I think as the world becomes smaller being connected people will learn more about other cultures and soon enough I think that will change as well.

I didn’t experience any racism in Korea probably because I look Chinese and speak English most of the time. I‘ve heard that Muslims might face difficulties. My husband got one tho at a store where a Chinese staff insisted on speaking Chinese despite his inability to communicate in it. I even saw her rolling her eyes at him. Overall, my experience in Korea has been positive, and while many speak Chinese, English is often prioritised because they think it’s more prestigious.

Hello! Thanks for the video tour. @ 3:06 English = tub The design of the hotel room window reminds me of the typical house windows in Germany - same operations. I'm wondering why fresh fruit is that expensive! Maybe there are not many growers in Korea. Or is it a seasonal adjustment to price? Or some other reasons?

Have a good trip in Korea. If you have difficulties in S.Korea, just ask people for help. Some people may not helpful, but most of them will help you. Most of people in Seoul are very busy for their work as much as most people who live in busy city in other countries. ^^

Koreans try to understand the other person's feelings first and communicate according to situations when having a conversation. Koreans may seem cold on the outside, but they will usually respond well when having a conversation. 👍

@@charllote3379 I am an American. I don't let my kids defecate in public. I don't spit. I don't cut inline. I don't travel in large groups speaking obscenely loud. I don't steal and my general attitude toward my host country is that of respect. You Chinese do exactly everything I describe here. Even your own country implements social credit scores not allow the cringiest of you to travel. Horrible Chinese tourist is a well established fact. Maybe this young lad went around with a sense of entitlement. I hear Chinese do that when they go on tours in Asia. Isn't Japan deporting Chinese tourist for these very reason?
