@@aaronbarlow4376 I think Hades is the least of the worst in Greek pantheon to be honest. I mean, Zeus and Poseidon are known as violators of women. The goddesses are horrible too 😂 There are some version of stories about Hades, but in the original one he 'kidnapped' Persephone but as the time goes on, Persephone grows to love him. Yeah, she leaves underworld every Spring because she is a goddess or patron of that season or something (she basically leave home to do work, and then come back 😂).

@@nitrokid I'm sure when Zeus gets with a mortal she loves it as well. Gods would be very attractive and charismatic, not to mention good lovers. And what woman wouldn't want a demigod child. 'Violators' is somewhat unfounded. It takes two to tango. Granted Poseidon wasn't too gentlemanly with Medusa but Athena was the real baddie there.
@GrimBrother

One of the funniest parts of demigod stories in mythology is the idea that an all-powerful god simply watches their child get beaten and rag-dolled by monsters and other powered beings on a quest while eating food up above and handing them a few gifts across the way. That's mythology parenting.

Athena turned Medusa's hair to stone after Medusa was attacked by Poseidon. Perseus was helped by Athena, had Hades helmet and Hermes sandals. He also found out when Medusa was asleep and killed her then. These is just one of the stories. When Perseus killed her, pegasus was born and is the child of Medusa and Poseidon.

Exactly, not only is this movie's dialogue is too modern, the visuals such as the costumes are as well. As one goes back into history we do not expect the ancients to look modern and stylized.
