Hi Nikole! Question: Did you do sleep training for Oakley as well? And if you did, was it the same strategy? We may be doing the same with our second baby but wanted some pointers. Thanks!

Ahhh I’ve been waiting for this video!!!! 🩵💙 My boy is one month older than yours & I’ve been watching all your old Sage eating videos 😆 I bought your baby cookbook 👩🏻🍳Super excited that it is digital! So convenient for when I grocery shop. I never want a hard copy of a cookbook again lol. My boy is doing great with eating so far. Made all the purees/meal prep that you made Sage for her first foods. Love the steam/roast method ❤ I too love the purée foods mixed with baby led weaning. I’m happy I have quick recipes to refer to expand my little one’s palate sooner rather than later & get him used to different textures. Anywho! So excited for these videos with Oakley 😊 Your content from moms to babies has been amazing throughout my pregnancy & with my little one. Have a wonderful day! 💞

Wow big milestone! I think my youngest had her first foods at 4 months too. I was 42yrs and suffering from lack of absorption. So my tiny preemy daughter reached up to have some of my banana, so I broke off a tiny piece for her. That was all she had, once a day until 8.5 months, then she ate veggies in tiny amounts off my plate. Oakley is doing so well! I was taught "Food for fun until 1 (year)". But I still think parenting intuitively is much more helpful to children.

The problem may be the silicone tools. They hold onto food odors and can make foods smell strange and unpalatable.

Baby sign language?! 😊 I've only just started following your channel . . . I gotta go back and see Sage using baby sign language. I never hear anyone teaching babies to communicate like this - but it makes perfect sense! Also . . . Great food ideas for bubba! Do you increase the texture of food (less mashed/blended smooth) as they progress? As I know texture is important for teeth development and preventing fussy eating 😊

Hi! I love your videos. I have a question about whether you bought new utensils for Oakley or used those from Sage (after cleaning them of course), and any advice on how to keep toys from your toddler away from your 6-month old baby’s mouth.

Does Sage sit properly in the stokke chair? My 5 year old won’t sit properly at the table. He also can’t reach and tends to sit on his knees. Just wondering if I should invest in the chair. Tia

Six-month-old babies who start to eat solids should always eat freshly cooked food, not reheated frozen food. And the breast milk shouldn’t be reheated with the food.

It's not recommended to have baby world facing for long periods of time because of their leg position in a carrier that way. Also, there are carriers designed for carrying toddlers, so he is definitely not too old. I baby wear my twins to go up and down the stairs to my apartment while carrying groceries because I have no other way, they are older than Oakley is in this video and their twin carrier is rated for up to 45 lbs (per kid).
