Brilliant dude! Love it. I love seeing what techniques you come up with. Always enlightening. I throw paint on a canvas and panic sets in. You throw it on, and it's a wicked texture detail. 🤘 I look forward to the next one!

Fascinating to watch, love hearing you go into your processes and ideas, especially when I consider how it can inspire my journey. A question if I may, I’ve tried mounting paper before and it failed miserably do you have any tips on help with it is it using this gel medium or a specific weight of paper?

I actually posted a video on my mounting technique! But yes a thicker paper will help for sure. I use the Epson Enhanced Matte or Ultra Smooth Fine Art Paper.

Thank you. I enjoyed this. I also like that it has more colours than the old art. Don't get me wrong. The old art is great. But Sometimes you need more than just "green"

Thanks for checking it out! I hear you on the green. The hope is to bring in some more colors, but still have that green vibe!

What I don't understand is how you were able to wet the print and then apply the gel without causing the inked image to run in an uncontrolled manner. In other words, the glued-on paper looks fine. No smearing at all. Did you coat the print with some kind of fixative before adhering the print to the board? (I'm assuming that your Epson printer uses water-soluble inks.) Anyway, the completed painting is off-the-charts fantastic... as usual!

It is all about the printer ink I think. Epson has been making bleed resistant inks since the K3 ink days. I don't know how they do it, but there is minimal bleeding. I am using no pre-spray fixing or sealing. But for sure earlier inkjet technology would bleed all over the place if I did this to it!!

Hey Scott, I have a question. To preface, I think this is a gorgeous piece and I don't have any intention of taking away from that. Why does she have elf ears?
@tyxbreaker

From my understanding, The Eternal Witness is a high-arcane being, perhaps a High Elf of sorts and represents an oracle.

The only reason I even bring it up is I'd be curious to know if the prompt included a detail like that or if wotc left it open for interpretation.

Interesting question and I actually didn't understand it at first, because to me she was just an elf! Now I understand that she is listed as a 'human' on the card! Holy cow this was my mistake. Was doing another elf at the time and must've gotten my wires crossed. Those ears slipped through the cracks, but it is all on me. LOL!! We will have to photochop them out in a future reprint!!
