Fish and chips is a British specialty.
I fried it every day at a dining bar, and my recommended tips are to add baking soda to the batter and to use seasoning salt.
Ingredients: 2 servings
- 2 cod fillets, 75g each
- 1 onion
- Flour for dusting, as needed
- 1 egg
- 40g flour
- 5g baking soda
- 50cc water
(Sauces to dip in)
Tartar sauce
Tomato ketchup
Malt vinegar (or your favorite vinegar)
Lemon, etc.
*If you use a frying pan for omelets, you will only need to waste about a cup of oil.
