Many people believe that a combination of curd/yogurt and fish causes leucoderma ...let me clear it out...IT IS JUST A MYTH
What will happen if we eat both, fish and curd together? Can it cause stomach cramps or white patches on the skin?
Fish and curd combination does not cause leucoderma (vitiligo) It cause white patches on the skin). The reason for this disease is the destruction of cells which produce the skin pigment melanin. This combination cannot destroy the skin cells. Even strict vegetarians get this disease. The regular, traditional fish eaters do not have it more than the average.
There is no scientific basis for this belief. In many countries fish are marinated or cooked in milk and dairy products. Many have no problems.
INGREDIENTS
Fish - 6 pieces
Ginger - 10 pieces small
Garlic - 10 cloves
Few mint leaves
Few coriander leaves
Lime - 1/2
Green chillies - 5
Red chilli powder -1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Homemade garam masala powder
Salt - as required
Corn flour - 2 tablespoon
All purpose flour - 2 tablespoon
Red food colour - few pinches
Butter milk - 4 tablespoon
METHOD
1.Wash fish pieces thoroughly and keep aside.
2.Grind
Ginger - 10 pieces small
Garlic - 10 cloves
Few mint leaves
Few coriander leaves
Lime - 1/2
Green chillies - 5
Keep this paste aside.
3.In a bowl add
Red chilli powder -1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Homemade garam masala powder
Salt - as required
To this add the ground paste
Mix it well...To this add the fish pieces and coat it well with the marination.
4.Marinate fish with the marination for minimum 30 minutes.
5.In another bowl prepare the coating by mixing
Corn flour - 2 tablespoon
All purpose flour - 2 tablespoon
Red food colour - few pinches
Butter milk - 4 tablespoon
Salt.
6.Heat oil for deep frying.
7.Take each piece of marinated fish, dip it in the coating and deep fry it in oil.
8.Spicy, aromatic and crispy fish fry is ready.
9.Give it a try you will love it.
