In this video, we’re highlighting how the vendors sell the fish after buying them off the boat from the fishermen. We met the vendors at the Parika koker while they were carrying out their daily routines. One of the vendors, Shorlan Thomas aka ‘Popo,’ clean or cut the fish upon the customers’ request. The vendors had a variety of fish, like basha, cuma-cuma, high-water, mackerel and cat-fish. Their friendly banter among him and the other vendors and people around, was just hilarious. They were teasing and making fun of each other and enjoying themselves. Among the customers were two people visiting from Canada. They had already seen some of my shows and had subscribed to my channel. At the Hydronie market, a vendor, Ramzan and his wife were doing theme work, making banga fillet. His wife was taking off the fins and he was gutting them and removing the bones. They had gotten an order to supply a restaurant.
