I fish the Abbotsbury area of Chesil Beach (Nr Dragons Teeth) on Monday 7th August. Fish tide down to low (6pm) and then back up to high (Midnight)
Using fresh rag, frozen squid / bluey / mackerel / prawn and sandal, it's tough going with baits casting into a strong SW wind
Lots of tiny mackerel are caught but they are undersized . Bream , conger and whiting come to the baits
A variety of bait rigs used - 1/0 - 3/0 pulley pennels, 2 hooked clipped (S2 - S4 hooks) and a Portsmouth loop rig (S2 - 4 hooks)
No spider crabs in attendance
Swell was approx 1m
