I fish below the Coastguard station at The Mumbles, between Bracelet and Limeslade Bay on Tuesday 16th April 2024
Fishing off the rock ledges , I fish from 1130 hrs to 1830 hrs . High at 1300 hrs was 6.6 m (Swansea) down to a low of 3.4 M
Using a variety of baits (Squid, Bluey, prawn, Mackerel, Frozen black lug) I use pulley rigs with rotten bottom set up. Hook size if S 1 - 1/0 on a pennel and a 4/0 circle on a dongle rig
Lots of action with bites almost very cast , with plenty of dogfish and Huss caught
On the day , there was a 20 mph NW wind blowing and this mark offers shelter from the N wind
Parked at the carpark at Bracelet Bay, paying £9 for the day. The mark is a 200 yard walk from the car park .
Plenty of variety to fish here, with the pier and beach marks , as well as the rock marks.
