The 2nd South Branch Oconto River is a tributary of the Oconto River in northeast Wisconsin offering about 8 miles of class I trout water. It flows mostly thru national forest land. The main fish found here is the brook trout. Some of the area is de-brushed which allows for easier fishing. Due to the dense vegetation you really need to wade this stream to fish it.
