I said MOUTH.. Oh, but I'm 3 years late. lol I'm sayin 10 minutes. no more. Yep, catching anything and where'd you go... Top 2 questions... Just gotta come up with a"South Texas kinda answer o west of Toledo Bend or north of the keys. ....lol that kinda answer. The great thing about starting fishing late in life is that now a got a quad drillion videos and stuff to watch from guys catching way better than I ever did. Fished when I was young... Teens to 30... then laid off for 40 years and now back at it. Lots to learn.. Lots of fun coming.

I like the way you target structure; whether at the jetties or off a bridge overpass. I know you have to put up with the rocks or oyster beds and getting stuck but the fish are there with hungry stomachs. I think it's your best bet versus the beach.

So many complain about spot burning if you know about it most likely a bunch of other people do lol. I don't mind helping a friend who is new to fishing so many people act like nobody has ever helped them. And they have done and found all there spots by themselves most won't admit they have had help finding spots. I do agree some shouldn't be helped because they don't respect it. They litter and take undersized fish that's not cool.

social media will ruin all fishing spots, I've learnt that the hard way. I don't really give my time or info about how, when, where and whys of my fishing any more. i literally been followed to fishing destinations, then next thing it was loaded with this guy and his mates and they kill everything! Such greed and arrogance in some people is unbelievable! They literally caught sharks and rays cut fins off and threw bodies back into the water, one of the most disgusting things i have seen. People want to know how to catch fish and where, they need to put the time in themselves and learn its part of fishing! these nobs that know nothing catch and kill everything have no respect or knowledge of water ways! I would not tell them anything, just make the vids and let them enjoy it bro!! You doing sweet with ur vids keep up the good work and dont let them get u down!

Henry Peck I fish for trophy brown trout on the cowichan river as well. Picky eaters and have a strict eating habit. Once they reach 20” and up all they want is baby browns, salmon and steelhead fry. They won’t touch anything else and get very territorial. And that’s just on the cowi. Every water system is different. I’d say do your research as there is lots to learn.

Lol "where we are may be in the title" LOL like there is only rock pile out there? You had a video of the trout you caught on "the jetty", can't remember exactly but i think it was the Packery Pass one, which had large pinfish, pin perch, inside the fish. So according to your findings, you need to fish that way on "the jetty" and you need a video showing catching fish on that rockpile with pinfish. Let me repeat, pinfish, "pin perch", are the number one bait there. but if you catch a threadfin, (whisker fish) on a hook or even better in a minnow seine, it will catch more trout. They swallow them quickly, cause they are soft.

But also anyone can go on google and type in jetties and find a spot to fish :p i get why some people dont say. I usually just tell them i wade fish at the texas city dike. And they end up on the rocky side and get snagged 50 times all day long LOL
