Dom, as a PA guy 1,700 miles away in Colorado, this look back to the Commonwealth does a lot for the soul. Thanks, keep up the great work.

Great video! One of the aspects I love about fly fishing is how I’ll walk into a river thinking I’ll play checkers, and it turns into a chess match. The trout and the stream make the rules 🤗

As a newbie the learning has been surprisingly enjoyable. Something about slowing down and trying to figure out how to catch fish when you know they should be there has been teaching me a lot. Used to just throw traditional tackle fast and cover water, catching only the dumb ones. Crazy how I can spend a whole afternoon in 100 yards of water now and enjoy it. I guess slowing down comes with age.

I have a significant amount of respect for you and your intricate mind. A 3D cad designer / cnc machinist coming into contact with such a beautiful and intricate tight lining technique really soothes the overthinking mind. You sir, are fantastic. Always coming back for more of your point of view and thought process. 🎣

That tune in the intro and the car ride is NICE…. Crunchy tele with a tone of reverb…. Nothing wrong with that. Suits the foggy fall transition. And the fishing content is great as always too brother.

hooked in to a very sizable Rainbow trout on an iso dry on Tuesday during a massive bwo hatch. The fish were just gorging for hours, very cool to see fish finning but also frustrating I couldn’t focus on one fish lol

Great video! I have a Highlander and am looking for a rod holder similar to what you use in your vehicle. Is it a DYI or is it something commercially available? I’m hoping to find a DYI that doesn’t cost a couple hundred dollars. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Thank you. It's the Smith Creek Rod Rack. It's awesome. Been using if for many years. Much better system than a rooftop rod vault, for me. Full video on it HERE. kzitem.info/news/bejne/pHuK0oiHpmKKloI

Thanks for the content. Needed something to get me in the mood to fish. Been in a bit of a funk. I'm not sure if you ever encounter this, but we got a new guy on the work crew that likes to fish. Everyone's like Nick likes to fish, he will get you on some trout. I admit I love fishing, but I'm a bit of a solo guy, and can't exactly call myself knowledgeable. I mostly use fishing as an excuse to not hang out with anyone but myself. How should I play this?

In my neck of the woods, we had a hot dry summer which just means more snow/glacier melt. It's maddening when you can see the flow is great, the fish are jumping, but the visibility is non-existent! Fingers crossed that someday soon I'll check one of our local rivers and I'll be able to see the bottom.
