The engine mount idea with the brace will work but if you also tie it into that factory mounting locations it definitely isn't going anywhere.

Yeah they would work if they're thick enough, I just haven't been able to find dimensions for them

Flip the engine mount brackets upside down, it'll give you like a 4inch drop to the flat. Edit: I saw you later mentioned that. It's what most people I've seen doing 4200 swaps do.

If you have your heart set on using a long bolt style mount, you could potentially just go to an auto parts store and get a sway bar end link. Probably from a bigger truck to get a good thick diameter. But you'll have to measure your needs and see

What fly wheel did you use and did you use an adapter plate

No adapter plate used, flywheel is made by emtech

@@CelerityAuto okay I have an emtech flywheel having a problem finding a ring gear for it don't want to buy the whole flywheel just for the ring gear
