Lovely views and beautiful blue skies. Do you ever get a little sad the last day and want the trip to last a little longer? I love long weekend trips but always want them to be longer.

Mama's Basecamp Always. Although on a really hot trip like 5his when we have no food left and nothing cold to drink, you really look forward to that when you get out.

Good show! Always enjoy Tim relaxing by a lake - no "paddle on dude" mentality. Re: Mid-night badder relief. I don"t need it very often, but I always have an old 1 kg peanut butter jar, in the tent, which allows me to stay in. Use it, cap it and set it outside. What happened to you recliner?

Tim does have a large bottle in his tent. Is that TMI? Recliner comes when there are no portages.

Are you using a hammock for sleeping? if so what is your setup?

Hi, I am using a Tentsile tree tent. On this trip it was the Tentsile Stingray. I have two others that I sometimes use. In it I use a sleeping pad under me, either an inflatable one like a Thermarest or just a closed cell foam pad. In winter I will use multiple pads under me. And then of course, an appropriate sleeping bag. I have used my hammock a couple of times and for that I just used my Thermarest in it with a sleeping bag.

It was 37-38 C and around ten degrees hotter with the humidex. I’m just answering to your contest on Instagram

That was the Barron River. Just south of the canyon.

@@TwoMenandaCanoe so did you launch at archray?

Nope. Launched at the Barron River Parking Lot. Short paddle Northwest to a 420m portage then continue up the river.
