James Cameron astutely emphasized that testing would never be sufficient to certify this type of vehicle. His insight highlights his brilliance as an engineer. He correctly pointed out the fundamental differences between materials like steel, titanium, or ceramic, which are homogeneous, and carbon fiber composites, which consist of layers of fibers bonded together with an epoxy resin. Unlike the former materials, cycling steel, titanium, or ceramic allows them to return to their original conditions even after being subjected to high-pressure testing. However, subjecting a composite material to similar testing may create undetectable weaknesses. Unlike materials such as steel, titanium, or ceramic, carbon composites cannot be inspected for cracks using X-ray techniques. Internal delamination within the composite structure remains nearly impossible to detect. Testing becomes problematic as it has the potential to weaken the carbon composite itself. Thus, testing is not a reliable method due to its potentially destructive nature when applied to carbon composites.

I came across a photograph featuring a modern shoe positioned beside the titanium endcap of the vessel, revealing an empty space inside. Theoretically, I contemplate the possibility that the contents within underwent a transformation into light. As the water rushed in, pressurizing the air trapped within, a sudden and dramatic event unfolded, causing them to vaporize in a manner resembling the combustion of fuel in a diesel engine. I suspect that the very oxygen present in their blood and lungs may have contributed to fueling this fire-like reaction.

It is not to late to confess your sins and follow Jesus the son of God the father in Heaven, who rose after 4 days in the tomb and was born by a virgin named Mary. After learning from James Cameron, it became evident that carbon fiber composites are well-suited for pressure vessels operating under internal high pressure. These vessels effectively utilize the tensile strength of carbon fiber strands to withstand pulling forces. However, using carbon fiber to resist external pressure compromises its inherent strength. In compression scenarios, the resin in the composite material becomes the primary component responsible for maintaining the vessel's structural integrity, even though it is not primarily designed for that purpose. In this specific case, the carbon fibers did not significantly contribute to preventing water intrusion. Instead, the failure occurred due to epoxy failure, causing the carbon fibers to yield and be displaced until the vessel eventually breached. The disintegration of the vessel happened rapidly, within a fraction of a second. It is plausible that the onset of failure was detected, prompting them to initiate procedures to resurface.

No one gave the "Go Ahead." The sub wasn't certified by any regulatory body from any country. This was stated in black and white on the liability wavier the passengers had to sign. It operated in international waters and was subject to no regulation, as well as not compiling with "industry standards" or "safety certifications." These were adults that were free to do what they wanted and did just that. Was it safe? No. I'll advised and dangerous. Yes. But it has nothing to do with Canada or America.
