I have noticed a sizable battery drain on my Galaxy since the update to Android 13 and One UI 5. Its not horrible but its there. It was very bad until i realized I had like 15 widgets all running on my homescreens. I got a little carried away with the new stackable widgets lol

One thing that helped me alot with the battery is disabling the sim card when not in use..like when ur at home with wifi. The main cause of the drain is when ur in place where the signal strength is low since the sim keeps trying to find a better signal which causes the drain..my standby drain when my sim was enabled is 1% battery per 30-40mins.. after disabling it 1% per 1hr30mins standby drain

You can just turn on WIFI CALLING as it will connect your sim card to your wifi instead of always searching for signal which will improve battery life. No need to turn off sim card

My phone battery is draining a good amount even on standby and I just bought the phone, it's a Galaxy S20FE 5G. I've read a ton of threads where many people have the same issue, but can't seem to find if there is a solution or that phone is just bad at battery consumption.

Really helpful thank you! . Another problem is occuring after one ui 5 update is charging. There were multiple issues where we charge the phone with 15 or 25W charger, it displays as charging instead of fast or super fast charging (Fast charging mode already enabled) and it causes phone heating up issue as well (I have a Galaxy A33) some other phones experiencing the same and I beleive it is from the software itself. Not sure if they will fix it or not but if you have any suggestion please do let me know or you can use this as a video idea for everyone who have simillar issues. Many thanks! 🙂

If you look on the update log for android 13 one ui5 it actually says "fast charging" will appear only for a couple of seconds then display "charging". Please try again and watch very closely to your notication screen. The time of charging should be the same as a fast charge regardless of the wording displayed.

I'm not sure when this happened but KZitem has been acting up lately on S22 Ultra. Seems like the Auto rotate feature stops working if you leave the app while watching a video. Once you get back into it, it stays stuck on portrait mode. Only happens to the KZitem app. Closing the app and getting back in, as well as these steps fixed the issue but it's a pain to do unnecessary "troubleshooting steps" just to get an app to work properly when it was never an issue before. Hopefully Samsung fixes this

Android 13 ruined my A52. Now there is lag, the screen goes black and it doesn't wake up (with any method you could think of). Hard reset and clean cache did not fix it either. 👎

VERY IMPORTANT QUERY . Dear sir, Will the battery go almost dead and useless ,if it is manufactured 6,7 months back, and kept without sale in the shop,even in the original pack ? Probably that could be the problem with many customers . Mine is a new ultra 5G.But to test it,I kept it ON in the night for 6 hrs,but kept it on aeroplane mode only .Still 2% Battery is consumed. No Bluetooth etc.were on. During the day also about 5 hours I kept it with internet on,( not in Aeroplane mode ).But didn't use it.For that also 2% consumption of Battery is noted .But my another phone didn't show any consumption. PLEASE CONFIRM. Thank you.

thank you for the video, as told you following the exact same procedure, but its rebooting normally. may be I need to try connecting to laptop. is it have to be a windows laptop or can connect to a mac as well?and yes, after a thousand tries post purchasing s22 ultra, finally it worked post connecting to laptop.

@@sungur545 nope just power off phone and then power it on. Hold volume down button untill samsung logo comes up then let go of volume button and recovery mode will eventually pop up.

I don't see how clearing caches would fix issues.. you better reinstall the app if it makes issues. Issues may occur when the app DATA is wrong which includes the apps database that holds information that may lead to the app being in loops or something similar. Sure apps can also by itself be programmed badly so these drain more battery.. but you can check that in the statistics, then you can decide if you wanna use the app any longer. You can disallow an app from running in the background, depending on how often you use the app this can be good, but if you use the app often it will onky have little effect to zero, as the app needs to be loaded fully again once you open it. There is plenty more...

When you do the reset. Connect your wired earphones and it will reboot to that system page.

@Jimmy is Promo hey bro just wanted to know if you have a fix that will enable the tab s 8 ultra, tab pro, in regular tablet the ability to get into recovery mode it hasn't worked since the tab s7 series. When I had the tab S7 pro I think I found a workaround by using the official Samsung plug and charger. It was so long ago but I believe that you had to have the tablet plugged in to get into recovery mode but I've tried it 25 times with the s tab S8 ultra, and nothing works.... Thought maybe you had or heard of a way to White cash partition (get into recovery mode)?

Hi... i have my s20 ultra , i always update my fone. Then problems occurred for example my old videos when i haven't updated it yet when i played it i enjoyed because of its crispness and its beautiful to watch. Then this latest update all my videos are now laggy when i payed it. Some of my displays look basic like when your fone at a lock screen , notification letters begone like cloudy dark black. I hate it. How can i restored it to its basic android verion like before?

Go inside wifi then go to the advanced or extra settings top right and see what all you have on and off like intelligent wifi and auto connect and so on.

Idk what's causing it but my game apps have disappeared recently. I can find them by going into my app drawer and searching for that specific game. But other then that the app its self isn't showing up. Anyone having this issue as well?

More than likely you're games are in Game Launcher. It cleans up your phone and places them in one spot.
