Have you notice any noise pattern in your BMCC 6K? Did switching from proxies to original video help with the issues? P.S. I don't know why the close ups are showing up weirdly graded in this video, will have to do some research on that.

Mic sounds good, it may be to close to you and why the plosives...but the mic sounds nice.

To expose the noise pattern, slowly sway the camera left to right. Doesn’t have to be much movement. But you will be able to see bars jump around the image. I’d be keen to email you my results

Yes I have experienced this. From my own experience however, this was super easy to appear. Tried using the camera to shoot an event and a majority of my shots were ruined when I panned passed dark foliage. But even if did not include any near black clipping points in my shot, just raising my iso up to 8000 so their wasn’t any clipping blacks, their was a flickering horizontal bars noise pattern. The pattern is in the noise floor itself, and achieving black or raising the iso exposes it. The camera iso range might as well just be restricted from 400-3200… Note: I’ve had this problem on three of these cameras from completely different stores. All just as bad.

It's wild to me that you want to expose anything at iso 8000 lol

Yeah, what the heck, lol. Who shoots any type of raw at 8000 iso, lol@@SeanvanBerlo

You should not be shooting at 8000 iso. This is why i dont believe this problem to be as bad as people say, just that people are way too used to an A7s

Yeah you wouldn't shoot 12800 iso in a raw format on an A7sIII camera either, that camera is noise reduced to its gills at that iso and artificially sharpened and God knows what. People really got the wrong idea about a lot of stuff after shooting on these over processed mirrorless cameras. @@daleweed

could the FPN be caused by the extreme contrast and saturation in the bar scene?
