Telegram is a free and open-source, cross-platform, cloud-based instant messaging software. The service also provides end-to-end encrypted video calling, VoIP, file sharing, and several other features. It was launched for iOS on 14 August 2013 and Android in October 2013.
So, to fix Telegram’s ‘Only Send Message to Mutual Contact’ issue, follow the steps mentioned below:
1. First thing first, open the Telegram app and then click on the Search icon on the top right of the screen.
2. Then, type in Spam Info Bot, and then tap on it.
3. Once you do that, you’ll be taken to its conversation screen, and there, type in ‘/start’
4. Following that, you’ll see two options on the bottom of your screen, tap on ‘But I can’t message non-contacts!’ and then tap on ‘Yes’
5. So, if you’re messaging random people out of your contact list, then Telegram has marked your account as spamming. Therefore, you’ll have to wait for the next 24 hours to fix it.
