I'm a 67 year old intermediate. This helped me a great deal with my press. I did 135X3X3 today with correct timing as you demonstrated. Your videos are fantastic. Thanks much coach!

When pressing light, I can do hip movements right.. But when the load heavier, it is hard to do hip movement.. Any suggestions?

Everyone's technique looks awesome with light weight :) As you increase weight and start to approach your current 1RM, your hips will start to feel slower and less pronounced. It's only natural. Assuming your technique and programming are dialed, you will get stronger in time and weights at which your hips previously sucked at, will get better. Patience and persistence, mate. Keep up the good fight 💪.

On linear progression Can you press more than I bench in reason to develop more on press Or I have to be patient ???

@@mcluhansalem7547 You press and bench equally during NLP. That's important because you need time to recover from each lift and let the body adapt. However, during NLP, your relative strength gains are insane (assuming you stick to the program, eat and sleep correctly). Stick to the program. It works. Once you finish NLP and move to intermediate programming, pressing more often, if that is something you like, is an option. I bench twice a week and press once. My press is still going up. Much slower now that I finished NLP, but enough to keep me motivated. Trust in the process. Be patient. If gains were easy, everyone would be pressing like Chase Lindley. Videos like this are brilliant for helping to think about cues, checking technique and connecting with coaches. Highly recommend getting a coach, even if it is only online coaching.
