Thanks for the step by step video. Found out my carriage wasn't moving. Moved it manually from side to side and cleaned the dust from the bar. Working like a champ now!

I worked on resolving this issue for over two hours and was livid. There was never any paper in the priinter. I was so frustrated. This printer has been very well taken cared for...Ive been out of ink and finally bought some and now the darn think WILL NOT PRINT. Heeeellllllp!!!

kim gomez When you say it will not print can you please elaborate a bit on what is going on? Do you send a print job and nothing happens? Does it print a blank page? How is the printer connected to your computer? What operating system are you running on your computer. The more information you can provide the better able I will be in helping.

Ha ha ha, I can not believe. Having troubles with printing since few days ago. Already decided to buy a new printer. For last help, I found this video. While watching it, my husband said: what a "clump" can put the pen inside.... I folowed all steps and ... found a pencil inside. Printer is working like a pro. Thanks a lot for this video.

I followed your video and found out when I moved my printer I plugged it in upside down. Weird that it powered on with the plug backward but putting in the right position fixed the issue. Thanks.

I keep getting the carriage jam message. But nothing here works. I do not have any paper stuck in the printer nor is there anything else stuck in there. The only thing, is that the carriage does not move on its own when I open the access door. It slides freely if I move it but not on it's own. Any other suggestions.

Hey mr./ms. HP employee. My printer is showing this message and you have no solution in any of your videos on how to solve it. It's a 3052A, just been taken out of the box not two days ago, ran the initial test page and hasn't worked since that first page was printed. I can't even try and print another test page because every time I try to remove the message that there is a jam, it shows up before I can press any buttons on the control panel. I need help soon because college starts tomorrow.

tried everything here and nothing worked. I bought it 2 months ago and didn't use it much. Of course it broke down when I need it most, needed a few pages printed by tomorrow morning for work, when it could have broken down last saturday while I was printing recipes. I expected a better, more reliable product. I kinda regret buying it now.

Hello, I can't change cartrige because the carriage doesn't move at all when I open the printer. I have no other carriage problem, I can print correctly with color so the error occur only when I want to change cartrige.I have absolultly no error message I don't find resolution on Deskjet 3520 carriage jam video, and neither on C03261117 on HP's home page. What can I do ?

Mihai Ignat Try going to the link below and selecting your operating system from the drop-down box and selecting 'Submit'. You should see your drivers for the 3050 there. Turned off. Paper removed, checked all over very well. Turned on again. Try to stamp..the printer start to move the paper. The paper goes on point where the stamp start, but the printer doesn't stamp. The paper do not scroll insiede and have a carriage jam error message on my computer or on the printer control panel ..again. Can't fix the jam

I am getting carriage jam message since past three days. I tried every step but issue is not resolving. After turning on my printer the carriage keeps on moving and in every 3rd rotation i get a message of carriage jam. Than after pressing ok it again starts moving and again in 3rd rotation of carriage it shows carriage jam. Please help

I have an HP Deskjet 3050A and the buttons on the control panel do not work. They light up but when I press them, however hard I press them, they do not work. The printer turns on. I recently replaced a black ink (301 ) and it was stuck on "replaced black ink" and I tried to push "OK" but it would not connect no matter how much I pushed it. What should I do, as this printer is about 6 months old at the most! Help!

Every time i try to print something out, the paper goes in half way and then stops. Shortly after i hear some quiet beeps coming from the printer. I tried these steps and now that i put paper in and try to print again it says to load paper even though there is already paper in the printer. Please help !

My printer is going to lead me to insanity. I've done all the steps, cleaned the printer. It won't move past the carriage jam message. But it moves freely back and forth, there is nothing in the printer. I kept thinking maybe i have a defective ink cartridge, so i just put new ones in today, same issue. I made sure there was no film or anything on the new ink cartridges i installed. Any suggestions?

+Abigail Wilson Is your printer the one from the video? What is the condition of the paper? Is it clean and dry, or is it curling? Have you inspected the inside of the printer for residue? Bits or paper and other similar debris can sometimes go unnoticed. Is the system pulling single sheets or trying to pull multiple pages at once? Please let me know.

Hey, I have a HP 3050 printer a little over 2years now. It has been out of action for the best part of that time. When I attempt to print, the carriage that the ink is in, slams into the side of the printer. I have attempted all steps in the video but to no avail :( I am wondering if I need it serviced, also I only have a black ink cartridge in it. Could this be a problem?

TrippinPink Carriage slamming into the side is definitely something you need to talk to HP Technical Support about. It is definitely a hardware issue.

Hello Bryce, It sounds like you are experiencing a paper pick issue. If you search for C02132399 on HP's home page or using Google search. It is a document about an 'Out of Paper' message but it also covers paper pick issues. If that doesn't resolve the issue please search for C02130018. It is a trouble shooting document for paper jams as sometimes a paper jam will cause the printer to not pull the paper in.

It has the steps to remove the remove the cartridges. The outside of the printer in the document may not look like your printer but the steps are the same.

My printer starts pulling the papers to start printing. right when it is about to start printing the paper stops moving and it doesnt through the printer. the printer continues to print as if the paper is going through but when it finishes it says paperjam. I tried solving the issue as the video but it didnt work :/

My cartridge just goes side to side it doesn’t come to the middle i don’t understand what could be wrong… i followed every step can’t find anything inside it… when i turn it on the cartridge just goes side to side with this loud noise and than display the message cartridge jam… my printer was just working fine a few weeks before now nothing… 🥺

error atasco papel hp 2050 / 3050 en la practica es x un diseño malo de los mecanismos de las impresoras estas, al primer atasco de papel se suele romper el eje del embrague que viene fundido en la carcaza y el otro es el pesimo mecanismo de traccion de papel basculante. el sitio oficial solo nos hace perder tiempo con sus pruebas basicas y no van directamente al error de diseño de ellos.como tecnico reparador de impresoras este problema se ve a diario en las entradas a reparacion.

+Scorpio Simmer Is your printer the same model as in the video or a different model? Were you also getting a carriage jam? It is often a byproduct of a previous paper jam when some bits of paper or debris are still stuck somewhere inside the printer. +Scorpio Simmer Please use the paper jam document I gave earlier. Your printer is a member of the Deskjet 3050 Printer Series. The most common place people find debris is in the cleanout on the bottom of the printer.

This is my 2nd Hp 3050 and my 3rd Hp printer(hp1050) product. Ive been totally unsatisfied with them all .If it weren't for one of these being a gift I m would have never again purchased one with the other being a return/replace from the store .They suck in my opinion as does their planned obsolescence dated system .RIPOFF will never own another .And to be honest I 'd prefer to use a much different t language to express my views about HP and their printers and their rip off cartridges
