We've just started working on my 94 waverunner 3 and this gives me a lot of hope. Your video was very helpful! I watched every second! Did you happen to total up how much you put into it total?
@RuralPlayground
3 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video! When it was all said and done for this specific waverunner it was around $300 total in parts. My other waverunner video only cost around $70 to fix up since I didn't need a replacement carburetor or steering cable.

Do you realize you took two wires with one plug. How did you test the other plug we didn't see that. Of course you say you could have checked both plugs on one wire or two plugs on two wires and would take off for that direction. 😊

No need for a brand new carb. Buy Genuine Mikuni parts to rebuild with after cleaning properly and set pop off pressure. Cheaper and a better option since that carb definitely is not jetted right for your ski.

I have the exact same ski, thing runs really good no issues there but it takes on water and fills up quite a bit if I just let it sit in the water. But won’t fill if I’m driving it. I can’t find any cracks or anywhere water might be getting in. Any ideas?
@RuralPlayground
3 жыл бұрын
Mine actually developed the exact same problem. I believe it's caused by a very slow leak from the drain plug. Fill the hull partially with water next time you have it on a trailer and see if that's where the water drips out of. Installing an o ring of some sort should theoretically fix it if that's where the problem is.

@Rural Playground to be honest that would be fine and even just slowly towing a tube just to take it out. But it didnt damage the the body did it. I Got mine yesterday and im so lucky it runs perfect and starts first time everytime. The only thing is the storage under the seat

On a lot of carbs not sure about jetskis but it's all the way in and a turn and a half out then you adjust from there. But that's for the a/f adjustment not low speed and high speed

In that case you will need to pull the impeller from the jet drive and inspect it to make sure the shaft is still engaging it properly. At least that's where I would start. Hope this helps.

I haven't had to deal with one that bad. I would recommend pulling the engine and trying to hand crank the shaft with a pipe wrench and some leverage. I've seen several other youtubers like Andrew Camarata use this method with success.

What’s strange is is that those two particular skis I know a lot about some come in 500 mine is a 650 some have 650 engines they’ve been using they use the same engine for many years I have the blue one same paint job same body same everything 650 engine get it running right and try to lay down something soft when you just literally put it on the dirt or the wood like that it’s bad for the fiberglass and paint And even though you can slip one it’s not good to do it
