Great to see this Video Dave!! It’s so funny, my MC history (vehicle wise) is very similar to yours. I started with Demin FatBob, then went to Road Glide Special, then Road King Special. And now looking at a 2011 Dyna Wide Glide. Ever since i traded my FatBob I’ve missed the Dyna. Quick question, do you find any performance issues with the long rake (34 inch?) and the fat rear and skinny front? I haven’t test rode the bike I’m looking at, but wondering your thoughts… Love your videos brother!

Hey there Jim! Yeah, that is funny about our bike history and honestly, I never should have traded the FatBob but it's far too late for that. I am not a very aggressive rider in the corners and in Indiana, it's pretty flat land so the rake on the bike is just fine for me. My year Dyna (2005) only has a 160 rear and it seems to be just as maneuverable as the 2017 Heritage. I really did try my best to love the M8 Road King Special but my bikes are the radio and it just wasn't working for me, even with it cam'd. It was quite powerful and set me back in the saddle but I don't really ride that way anyhow...

Ok I have a question about the bolts you installed with red loctite. I thought it was always necessary to use heat to break them free, but you removed them with the impact only, correct?

Correct, you don't have to use heat to break free red loctite. Don't get me wrong...that stuff is strong and sometimes heat helps to soften the loctite if you don't use power/air tools but these specific bolt and nut are hardened steel and won't be damaged by air impact. Hope that answered your question.
