Build some shelves above the printer and keep some desiccant inside to keep your filament dry. Hey but now you just have a good excuse to buy a new giant printer lol.

the hotglue gaps mean the glue wasnt hot enough/cooled down too quick. Couldnt you have re used the perspex panels from the lack enclosure? I always thought i'd break one of those doorhinges but after 5 years, so far so good! Its not as janky as i thought when i started making it

Yeah your right, I think I waited too long to attach the parts together after putting the glue on. I did think about reusing the panels, but wanted it to be taller so I could use the normal filament holder it came with. Good to hear you enclosure is working well

Be careful when printing high temp for a long time in an enclosure. Your Pursa printer will eventually melt the PETG parts it is made up of or at least warp them enough that you will lose belt tension on the Y axis. Be sure to print critical replacement pieces in ABS or optimally ASA ASAP!

Hey the enclosure is so huge and has so much radiation area plus gaps everywhere i doubt it's going to get that hot. Best slap a thermometer in there somewhere though and make sure it's not reaching high enough temperature. How much is safe for PETG, what do you think?

thanks, yeah I have heard of that happening, I am planning to reprint most of the PETG parts in ABS or ASA now I have a new enclosure
