Quick note: the safest way to do this is to disconnect your battery to help ensure the airbag isn't accidentally set off. Also quick note: Yes, the bolt should have Loctite, as the factory uses. This was just a quick diagnostic and fix to solve the problem. As I mentioned at the beginning of the video, I've got a full write-up for the steering wheel and it does mention the Loctite. Also also, I'm still terrible at making videos and have no idea what I'm doing, so I try to find one new thing (or improvement) to incorporate into each new video I make to force myself to learn and improve with each one. This was my first one adding music and I'm wayyyy too proud of myself for it lol.

There are at least a few out there will over 100k on them. Even GMR's supercharged V8V has well over it. These things are made to drive :D

This was the nut you tightened when you changed the wheel? Did you not apply correct torque setting when installing the wheel.

I've removed my steering wheel a couple of times since making that video. It was tight but I didn't reapply Locktite the last time or two that I removed it so over a lot of miles and some rough treatment, the bolt was able to loosen.

The safest way is to disconnect the battery before messing with the airbag at all. I wasn't going to disconnect the airbag so I wasn't too concerned. Had the airbag gone off somehow... I'd at least have one helluva blooper reel.

It is! Replaced the driver seat from the '05 STi I used to have with a Recaro Pole Position, and turned the STi seat into an office chair. Too tall for an office desk but the perfect height for a workbench 👌

I highly advise you to use blue thread locker to avoid being in this situation again

I didn't apply any the last time I had it off (it's been off a few times), and after a lot of miles it was able to loosen up a touch. As a side note, I never intended these videos to be totally comprehensive - they were meant to be a visual guide to help people through a given job working on their Aston. I'm in the middle of building a completely new website and the DIY Guides on it will have a lot more information that specifies these details that I often gloss over assuming people would just do them. Even so, the videos are still just meant as a general guide :)
