Really enjoyed the first couple of your videos, you made it further along than I did, I bought a brand new Haas TM-2P years back, but unfortunately I didnt have enough work to keep busy so had to get rid of it, maybe one day I'll take another run at it. I love your shop set up, and to actually find something youre passionate about..awesome, Im happy for ya..keep fightin for what you love..thank you!

I installed a gorilla glass screen protector on the inside of my door that is hydrophobic and I now get much better results filming from the outside. Before, all my footage was from a GoPro inside a case with an air knife. Now, I use footage from both the GoPro inside and my iPhone from outside. I use an iPhone because I get fewer reflections than from my DSLR.

Great video. The fact you did go “into the weeds” and shared your thought process made a more mainstream, but very good, knife making video, very enjoyable for the problem solvers in your audience. Thanks for the time shared. Keep it up.

Hello, good work! may be you can do a plate parrallel to the knife fix on your two existent screws and on the other end of the blade a little more thikness or little gauge under to avoid vibration. One opration and you can do all the contour. Sorry for my english. Thanks for your video from France

if you set x/y to one of the pins and z on the top of the pad on the pallet base you will never have to pick up offsets again :)

My last job had a lot of stuff laser cut, if they used nitrogen instead of compressed air it helped in hardening the edge is what they said. I noticed a difference when reaming holes from air vs. nitrogen.
@Tehknein

Nitrogen won’t warp and will have a smaller heat zone. It cools the edge during evacuation much better. That edge is shop air

LT5 looks good and good choice with the A2! Curious to know what your thoughts are on a single bevel chisel design for wrecking wood. Only example I have is the Garette Wade XHD Chisel knife

Thank you very much for the video. Will there be a video in the near future on how you machine the bevels? Are 3 axes enough? Are you machining it from the top or You are using some special fixture and have it under angle? Can you reveal the machining strategy or is it Your secret? Two years ago you were in Survive! knives shop. Do you know how they machine bevels? They have a beautiful finish straight from the cnc and I have no idea how they do it. Thank you very much for the answers. Have a nice day.

Loving you're videos😁👍.....I have a Skyfire VMC and thinking of upgrading to the X7, space is an issue so I was wondering what was the minimum distance away from the wall do you need to access the electronics panel at the rear, ie how much swing in the rear access doors, many thanks Marcus

I'm not sure of the exact dimension, but approximately 24 inches. If you join the Syil User Group on Facebook there are documents linked with spec sheets and blueprints.

Have them cut with nitrogen. No slag, no more warp, and a smaller heat zone. That edge is either oxygen or dry shop air. A fiber lasered edge should not be that color with nitrogen.
