hey *****, during the recording of the video i did not need to do a body mount chop, after changing my rim to a negative off set i did. with a 2'' lift and 33'' you will not need to do a BMC on the FJ

Awesome build. Great attention to detail. Obviously a very clever bloke. It's give me a lot of ideas. Ronny mate it's a small thing but I would say when you cut to the Q&A I do enjoy hearing the cracking open of the can of drink you share with the person you're interviewing. It is a small detail but it is a good sound.

Man that is one tidy truck. This bloke sure does have some really great little ideas for solving problems. The CNC cable chain is such an awesome idea that i could use to solve about another thousand wiring problems. Best of all it is about as cheap as it comes. Great job. Maybe you should recruit Andrew for a semi regular 4x4 tricks segment or blog?

I have a Yellow 2007 and it is the best investment I have ever made. 140K, no problems except for a bump in the transmission since new, feels like I got tapped from behind. Hey Ronny love ur videos. My name is Nick from Orange NSW and I am 16 years old. I currently have my learner license and drive my 1998 Toyota Hilux. One of my older bothers friends stayed at my house last night after going out all night and he has a 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser ute I have been in older land cruiser and the wagons but he took me for a drive this morning and it was like nothing else the power and sound is amazing. I knew land cruisers were great and I have alway wanted one. Probably in 5 years when I finish Uni (hopefully sooner) I will have my own land cruiser and maybe if u do a tour of NSW I would love to meet you. Keep the videos coming they are exiting and informative.

Awesome FJ Cruiser. Crushes many of the best modified Hummer H3's I have seen in America. Though at 17:41, I would use a 360 degree deep ribbed cover over the steering wheel instead of the smooth cover/knob setup. A Ribbed steering wheel cover: The approximately 1cm to 2cm height ribs spaced 2.5cms to 3.5cms apart 360 degrees around the wheel provide 100 percent safe hand control of the steering. The SHOWN smooth cover with an installed single position steering knob is irritating and if you hit a pot hole or rock at speed you could strain or break a wrist.

I almost got an FJ but went with a V6 hilux instead.. I think I still made the right choice but it was a tough choice.. also resale is a bitch with a V6 hilux everyone wants the diesel whereas with the FJ they don't get a choice! I love the HP of the V6 but man does it drink when towing..believe me when I say I understand why you have 200ltrs of fuel tank because you bloody need it less you be stopping every few hours to fill up again. I think stock the FJ looks a bit goofy but with the kinds of mods as shown here it looks amazing. If I ever start towing regularly I will seriously consider a supercharger kit because I think it would totally transform the V6 and it's relatively inexpensive (about 5-6k).
@PhantasticAdventures
7 жыл бұрын
i was in the same boat. was thinking of a hilux or and FJ, i decided to go with the Fj and to be honest i dont regret it. everyone has different need and want so whatever works for you needs. I'm glade you understand the pain of having a V6 petrol =] ahah! but i have found small inexpensive way to help with fuel =] will post up with i did on my KZitem channel! and yes i would love to put a supercharger on my FJ but i just dont see the need for it at the moment.... maybe a future mod down the line .
