Thanks for a great video. You've given me some confidence to tackle my own rust repair 👍

Inspiring stuff. Keep it going as its refreshing to see a passion project on a channel like yours actually get completed despite all of the hurdles that come with bringing an old cruiser like this back to life properly!

I bought my 60 around the same time as you and sold it a couple months later after giving up on the sheer amount of rust. Bought an 80 instead but its just not the same :( you're restoring this 60 for me too now, I can't wait to see it done!

Believe me I’m keen to see it done too! 😅 We heavily considered an 80 before buying this but figured it was too similar to the Patrol we already have. Enjoy the coils though!

This is awesome !!! between all the resto 60 channels #favouriteJay#Hernrysbuild ……you can get a good idea on how to tackle the jobs yourself. I know cost can vary depending on prices at the time but it would be interesting to know, to help with budgeting & knowing weather or not your being ripped off. Great video👍🏾

When we eventually finish it I think we’ll do a bit of a cost breakdown. For now all I’ll say is it’s bloody expensive!

I got a BJ60 in Canada of all places, with minimal rust. The bodywork is mostly good except for a few areas of rot.

Sounds like a lucky buy! Our 60 came from the desert so we thought it’d be pretty rust free … boy were we wrong. At least it’s rust free now though!
