Thanks for showing the arm drag vs weapon retention position. That is something I need to try out with sims or at least airsoft. You guys are the best.

I've followed you from the '90's. Copied your mag articles. You gotta do a video with southnarc; Craig Douglas. He, like me, picked up the combative baton and ran it, into unexplored areas. I did nothing. Just tried to survive.

Another great video. Thank you! You sure about not getting a “cool” intro for these? 🤔😉
The only problem is you don't do this ALL THE TIME, and you still wind up directly in front of each other, vulnerable to the hook! We ALWAYS angle step and use a body rotation in traditional wing chun (which NO boxing derivative does!) to go to the outside of the attacking arm, or to just face the attack so we can see it and stop it! It also pulls us away from the attack!

There’s many ways to skin the cat - nothing is absolute. All tactics and techniques are dependent on the situation.

@@kembativzbrand9099 No, it depends on the system. If you system sucks, which it probably DOES, because it is a boxing derivative, then no matter what you do, you will lose against a superior system such as traditional wing chun!

@@mightymeatmonsta that all great in kung fu movies from the seventies, but for real life application in or outside the ring it’s never been shown to be effective. Not sure if you even are serious or just trolling.

I have the impression that as soon you go for the arm that person will offer resistance and stiffen his bqck pushing him from the shoulder will quickly become impossible.. This ia coming from someone who do pratice combative arts and have bren in real life scenarios as well
