Here's a great glimpse back in time, of footage taken around 1946 showing the Travelling Library, which took books to isolated children throughout the Shire.
It was operated by the Children's Library and Crafts Movement and was established in Hornsby in 1943.
The service, based in Dural Street was run by volunteers.
This footage shows it in action, as well as some great footage of Galston, Berowra and Brooklyn.
Let us know if you recognise yourself or anybody else in the video.
