Oh my goodness - Great minds think alike!! You can do a lot with Flat-Weave - but I came up with this exact bracelet in the same sizes of beads about a year ago - but I used Genuine Natural Faceted Ruby Rondelles for the centre beads, Miyuki Permanent Gold-plated 15/0 seed beads - and then I included 2xSolid 9K Gold Rondelle beads with a tiny Freshwater Rice Pearl between the two as an extra feature on the sides, and then completed it with a Solid 9K Gold Clasp.. It cost me a fortune to make it, but I wear it a lot, with matching 9k Gold, Ruby & Pearl Earrings and a beautiful pendant that I made to go with the set ... I get such a lot of compliments - and yours is so pretty too! I don't think you can go past a Flat-Weave Bracelet with large Rondelle beads in the centre when you want to make a statement!! You've inspired me to do it again in Crystals in Marine Green AB - with Silver Miyuki seed beads and added Sterling Silver and Freshwater Pearl feature beads on the sides .. I think it will be gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring me!! XX

@@Danysska Thank you so much! But Yours is beautiful too! I just can't believe that we both invented identical designs - which mostly comes down to the choice of sizes of the beads we used, and the decorative sides : ) I hope you enjoy wearing yours as much as I enjoy wearing mine : ) Kindest regards, Janell ♥️🇦🇺

Yesterday I started this bracelet and was successful thus far (almost done. It wasn’t my first try, because until now I’ve only had many failed attempts due to wrong thread, wrong sized beads, not knowing what combo to use, alas it is my first time being successful on working with beading thread, as I haven’t successfully made a single thing yet. (I don’t have firelane thread) but I found some beading thread that worked pretty well at michaels. There was only one left. I’m pretty positive I’ll be making this one again. I have to say I’m still pretty new to making jewerly altogether. But adding thread and a needle to my arsenal is very exiting and it makes me have nostalgia because I also sew and haven’t been able to for a while.

As a jewellery wearer I can’t agree on the magnetic clasp on a heavy piece. No stabilization of the way the piece lays, and comes off at the slightest tug. Lobster clasps also don’t lie correct. A hinged, fold over clasp lies properly and stays closed. Very nice design though!
