I live in this building. Information are public for real estate transactions. Developer sold this unit at 45m AED in feb 2022 and it was sold at a loss for 32.5m AED in dec 2022 after asking something absurd like 60m AED for months. The group mentionned in the video bought it / probably renovated it and most likely ask for an astronomic price now. Construction next to it is going to be 3 different buildings of 9 floors (as well) and yes it will be noisy for the next 3 years minimum (they are extremely slow and don't seem to all have the same construction schedule). Overall Serenia is a great residence if you don't directly face construction. It's incredibly quiet and peacefull for Dubai. You just have to drive in and out of the palm (15 mins). The penthouse is highly overrated for that price tag though.

My “theory” regarding Mikey: He and Enes were friends when Enes was a broke nobody and injured ex-surfer. They started their real estate journey together, Enes being the more suave, well dressed athletic man, Mikey more casual, slightly overweight everyday person. THAT was the magic…2 very contraire men being friends and filming together. When their channel got more and more successful, Enes became more and more focused on elite appearance, an always well dressed team and sell-out, charging for the videos, while also having sponsors and KZitem Adsense. I BELIEVE Mikey simply didn’t fit in anymore…and didn’t want to. That is my personal opinion, based on a couple things. Great video as always! Best wishes

@@palmoart Yes & No. Before getting into real estate, Enes was actually broke, stuck with medical bills and no further career. That’s when he got into real estate and also met Mikey. They were real life friends. Driving an expensive car doesn’t say anything (it can simply be leased, even as business expense). His high income, or exact numbers generated via flipping I can not confirm. Questionable. I also actually stated Enes being the well dressed one right from the beginning, contrary to Mikey. I have noticed certain clients being medium fond of Mikey’s overall casual appearance. Enes has definitely changed, which can be witnessed when he mentions wanting to buy a US$ 5 million Chiron within the next 5 years, taking sponsorships from questionable fly-by-night operations like Established Titles, Manscape, Better XYZ etc. I’m also slightly surprised there’s many real estate related things he has no clue of, like the difference between induction, electric and glass ceramic cooktops etc. Overall his channel has (for me) lost its original “Two passionate friends having fun looking at real estate on KZitem” charm and chemistry. It’s now a NBC 2.0 presentation machine, without personality. Best wishes

I know exactly nothing about the channel. But I'd also say Mikey didn't fit in any more. I feel like Enes is basically promoting these properties and Mikey would sometimes say things that were not too bad but broke the smooth feel of the videos, things that endeared him to viewers of the channel maybe but maybe didn't fit in to the feel of the videos. But I guess there may always be behind the scenes things going on that outsiders will not know about. In terms of sharing revenue or what not. So yeah basically I know nothing so why am I even speculating 😄

I actually don’t really care what/where/why/who is doing something, and don’t “look up” things, as I have “real” and better things to do. Another great video, been hooked on your channel! I’m not joking when I say that whenever we buy our next property I’ll be sending you the video tour and paying your hourly for your honest feedback. In terms of Mickey, what I suspect happened is as they started the entire channel together, I’ve been following them since the open house GoPro tour days, as they grew Mickey felt like he deserved % in the business and Enes didn’t want to give any. I’ve seen it happen in many businesses dozens of times. Enes kept bringing new team members in, while Mickey felt undervalued. It’s very unfortunate, but it often comes down to money in most businesses. What Mickey should’ve done is build his own personal brand on the side as a failsafe like every member of David’s crew did back in the day, and when they parted ways most of us would’ve followed Mickey’s journey, but maybe becoming Enes is not what he wants. I wish the best for him.

I really like Enes's videos and his take on the properties he tours. I like the fact that he gives us the chance to have a look inside some of the most beautiful homes around the world and his videos are enjoyable from the start till the end. I have been following Enes for years and i will keep on supporting his works and his channel however i'm glad i stumbled into your channel too cause i found myself being much more critical and spotting bad aspect of high end real estates that my eye couldn't catch before. I live in Dubai and when i saw Enes's video, thanks to your observations i immediately noticed the massive construction next to this penthouse and the fact that the lack of privacy for such a high price is not something that would appeals me if i were to buy this unit ( not that i would ever have the slight chance even to consider having the money for the downpayment :) ). I would like to add that The Palm is also an insane high traffic area both to get in and out, especially during the evening and throughout the weekend because of all the brunches and parties available all over the places. This part of the crescent is very far from the entry point and it takes ages to reach especially during those times of the day or weekends. There are much more appealing areas in Dubai where buyers can find a better ratio "quality of life / price " but unfortunately to say " i live on the palm " lures some people into a bad choices. By saying this, i like to highlight the respect you show towards Enes even if your critiques are loud. I will keep on watching and enjoying Enes being Enes and you being you!

The marble behind the bar is just a big piece of ugly rock without any focal point. Most of the views are those of your neighbors. The unprotected outside areas would be unusable May through Sept because of the desert heat. Notice the plants outside are cacti and palms, the only ones that can survive the heat. Way too much of the same white and gray marble in every room. The extra bedrooms are small at that price. Missing Mikey, too.

Arvin, a great observation that this unit has a better view of the palm/downtown then vice versa. I made a similar comparison of being in Indian creek village to/ from bar harbor islands in miami.

I believed every word he ever said blindly because I didn't know any better. Now I do. He's in the primary alone while the crew has three to a room???

I clicked on Enes's video to see what the price is. No price. First comment I saw was "Where's Mikey?" If I had eff you money to buy a place like this, the low ceilings would drive me crazy. They couldn't add 1-2 feet to the height? It would make a huge difference.

The issue with every property on the palm is just the distance to go anywhere. Its so far especially from this location. The fact that you have to drive to the atlantis then around the crescent would get very boring very fast. It takes about 15 minutes from just the mainland dubai, off the palm, to get to the atlantis. Then if you want to go to downtown dubai its so far especially in peak traffic.

Mike is Jewish and Enes is a Turkish Muslim. The rest of the team is also mostly Muslim. After the Gaza debacle things kind of fall apart. Mike had a physical altercation with a couple members of the team and Enes refused to fire them. Now Enes is scared to say the reason why Mike is out in fear of zionist retribution

It's a table from which to serve food, and the 'butlers' (real) kitchen has neither warmth nor seating to hang out. Actually, the whole thing is a hotel hallway. The warm and cool whites don't match and the grey paint and black glass makes a cold inorganic industrial presentation. No texture or focus. '70's smoked glass hexagonal mirrors on pillars. No one noticed the step up tripping hazard and discontinuity to the deck. There is no escape from the omnipresent sun. Maybe the whole thing is an office. Where is Mikey to rescue us?

You want to sleep in the same room with your boss on a business trip that he’s paying for? Not sure. Maybe he should have let go of the biggest room for others to cluster but he’s the boss and he calls the shots. He has worked hard enough to earn that, that’s why he’s Enes I guess 😅😅😅

No ensuites for the guest suites either, and something else I've never seen mention in an apartment/penthouse tour is how many parking spaces you get. Also Arvin the channel Tokyo Portfolio recent did a tour of a new penthouse in the middle of Shibuya that might be worth checking out (the night views are certainly striking!). If you do watch it then do keep in mind that space in the middle of Tokyo is very much at a premium, so what's average for us is huge for them.

A big flaw of this property is the accessibility. This is so far in the back of the crescent, it takes you 20 minutes just to drive off the palm. It’s better for resorts not for residential.

I’m from Dubai. What you said is true. The palm is way too crowded. Our house land shrunk pre signing. The ceiling is low. The colors are bad. My house looks better. That’s because there is a law that color pallets and house shapes should be looked like. Marble floors I like case it keeps the house cool. The noise is another story.
