28:25 god I absolutely love seeing them happy and singing together, gives me goosebumps and makes me all giddy every time... They were so magical together, no matter how bad things might've been behind the scenes. I know this was in 79 but even them on stage in The Dance in 97 was life changing! Or when they toured in 2004! I know they haven't really been on speaking terms since he got fired from the band in 2018, but I sure do hope they make up before it's too late. Chris passing was a huge reality check, life is too short for them to end on such bad terms.

So when I see the clip in this video where Lindsey and Nikki Stevie is working on angel. You can see why they're drawn to each other. They're still making their music together only. It's not on their own album. They're sharing it in a band but when you watch this clip, you see how well they work together and they obviously enjoy it. I don't think they were acting. It's just twisted in difficult situation.When everybody is individually minded and stubborn.But that's a good thing.They've learned how to work it out in this band I think that's fantastic

I saw this original VHS video when it came out and also the concert (in Boston and in Providence RI on Thanksgiving day) this documentary is so important. The making of this album, what I believe is their greatest, should be re-released so every fan and music aficionado can see the complex mastery and engineering that went into this extraordinary album from such a complex and talented group AND its stellar producers. Its a wonderful time capsule and moment. All of them in top form albeit wasted. Seeing this copy makes me sad as you can not see the quality of the original - it has been dubbed so many times is a dark blur, why won't WB reissue this documentary again, or just release the original printing again? What a shame, would also be nice to see the FULL version...regardless, thanks for putting this out there - much appreciated.

I saw them in Bridgeport, CT at the New Haven Collesium on 11/10/1979! It was my very FIRST concert and one of the very FIRST times I'd ever smoked pot! All I can really say is that I was way too stoned and paranoid to even enjoy the experience. When the collesium lights came back on after the concert, there was a thick haze of smoke that resembled fog with about 6ft of visibility! It was not what I would call fun, but what I do very much remember is how beautiful she looked wearing a flowy white sheer kimono/duster with a large fan blowing on her that made her look angelic. BTW, thankfully I NEVER did or could enjoy smoking pot so... that was never an issue again!

Most recently, Stevie had made a comment during an interview that she is most at peace with a "guitar player" in the room "strumming about." A habit or ritual she was very used to, when she lived with Lindsey. In time frame 20:21, is an example of that. Lindsey playing a Les Paul and Stevie writing poetry or in her daily journal in peace. I remember a story (early years), when Stevie would complain that Lindsey seemed more "in love" with his guitar than her... lol.

From strictly a voice standpoint, i feel Christine had the best voice. Stevie had the distinct voice, the strongest stage presence and the mystical lyrics/image. Buckingham had the musical work ethic and drive to expand the musical direction and push the others outside the envelope. Mick and John were the guts and heart of the sound of a great rock and roll band. Mick was also the peacemaker that kept Stevie & Lyndsey from killing each other.
@NolanWinter-ct8bh

@user-ly1we5fi3b Don't agree. Stevies voice was not only strong and distinctive. It was sexy, unique, haunting and soulful. She was also a great harmony singer. Stevie was more versatile than Christine. She sang lovely ballads and upbeat Rockers. Stevie could sing Christine's songs but, there's no way Christine could sing Stevies.
@Rya-m7c

In my opinion, I think they all had distinct characteristics to their sound. Buckingham had his guitar and crazy vocals. Stevie Nicks had the very recognizable, raspy, and overall magical voice and Christine brought the peacefulness of her voice into the trio. I think that they should’ve and hopefully did know that no one in that band could be better than another or they wouldn’t work as well together in the studio or on stage musically the way they did. Their voices and Fleetwood and McVie made the band what it is and gave them their extreme fame they had in the 1970s.

Never understood why Nick's Angel was not successful as a single. It should have been the lead single from the Tusk lp not the song Tusk. Tusk was interesting as a new direction but confounded the public; and why Lindsay felt they needed to make that the lead off single still makes me scratch my head. I understood his need to down play commercial success commercial success was the band's linch pin - not experimentation. The lp would have still gained respect for being a new direction - surely it was but regardless - it need to brew slowly as listeners got used to it. Also I don't understand why Angel was played it so badly live - it was sped up and lost all of the nuance. Great underrated song.The lp contained many great songs quite capable if being radio hits at that time while still releasing the full album as it was: Think About Me, Angel, Sara, Save Me A Place, Sisters of The Moon, What Makes You Think You're The One, Never Make Me Cry, Walk A Thin Line; instead we got the very confusing Tusk as the lead single which killed interest and the staying power of the lp. I was managing a record store during that time. I know this from being there at ground level. Great album, poorly marketed.

I think Christine was so much better than Stevie

Hard disagree. I think they were both really good musicians separately and together and I personally hate when musicians are compared to others when they all have talent in their own ways.

Brilliant band and a coked out mess of a documentary.

It’s pretty bad. The choice of material, the general incoherence, the lack of flow. I mean, how idiotic is it to show Mick’s conga solo instead of the rest of WORLD TURNING? Total goofball decisions. BUT - it was the only documentary release we had of the band at that time, so we lapped it up.

フリートウッド・マックってバンド名は伊達じゃない。 スティーヴィーが魔女に見えるのもリンゼイが魔法使いに見えるのも、 ミックとジョンが作り出す曲の骨格あってのことだ。 Fleetwood Mac isn't just a band name. Stevie looks like a witch and Lindsay looks like a wizard. This is due to the structure of the songs created by Mick and John.

None of us could possibly say we KNOW what it is about *unless* we were in Stevie Nick's head when she wrote it, or she publicly explained it, or we Googled and read her explanation. That's why there are so many search results asking "What is the song 'Sister of the Moon' about?", even though there might be *1* person out there who thinks "it wasn't for you (but only them) to know". 🙄
